I love this Fingerprint Door Lock. It makes life so easy to enter and exit a room. After you open up the door and leave the room and close the door, after 5 or so seconds the door locks itself behind you automatically. This is prefect for those who forget to lock their doors when they leave a room, and I am one of those people. Installation was super easy. The instructions were very easy to follow, and programing the door lock to fingerprints is simple and fast. The price is very cost effective. I have seen normal door handles with lock sell for much more then this fingerprint door lock. It's a no-brainer. If you like to save time and not have to carry a key around with you everywhere you go, then purchase this lock. You won't regret it.

Easy install, locking mechanism can be slightly abnoshes but you get used to it. Love it coupled with a self closing hinge. Keeps the kids out of my bedroom

Fingerprint recognition is pretty good and it seems to take a second or two sometimes but it's important to know if you don't keep it charged up it's not very effective at all

This was very challenging to set up. Once set up, it worked great — unless you have dry rough hands or if you try to open the door with wet hands. My husband works outside in all weather, so it has been trickier for him to use when his fingers get rough or scratched up. Fresh out of the shower, we often have to try a few times or use the key, which we have stashed on top of the doorframe.But here’s the BIG problem — after having it set up and using for about 4 months, one day IT LOCKED ME INSIDE THE ROOM AND WOULDN’T LET ME OUT. Luckily I had a screwdriver. I took the pins out of the hinge but then still couldn’t wiggle the door off until I started to uninstall the handle.After loosening the plate, the handle finally started turning and disengaging the lock, but the inside button no longer worked. Thought perhaps it was a dead battery (which still wouldn’t be good, but at least it would explain something). But now, even with fresh batteries, the inside button to lock/unlock doesn’t work.So, I definitely can’t recommend this product. 😬
