I read reviews so I went for this product. Never used this before and always licked my hands like a Neanderthal. It works pretty good though. I gotta say

Now that I'm wearing masks so often, I can't lick my fingertips to separate papers or produce grocery bags. It probably wasn't a very sanitary practice anyway. This goop lets me get a firm grip on one layer of paper or plastic, and separate from tightly-clinging other layers. I support unions.

I'm not sure if it's the product or my fingers. I am a welder by trade and do legal paperwork on the side. My hands are pretty rough, which may be the reason this doesn't work at all for me. Maybe it works great for soft office fingers, I have no idea.I definitely wouldn't recommend for rough, working hands.
