So I recently got into swimming due to some knee and back problems, never been a swimmer for exercise before, only recreation. I wanted to be able to work my legs using training fins, but without doing a crawl it's a bit hard to raise your head for breath when you are paddling hard. So I bought this snorkel and it is awesome. I have since started using it for both flipper/leg only laps and for crawl laps. The only thing I would change is adding a bit more padding to the band, but you get used it after a few sessions.

Just what I needed to help me start swimming for fitness and physical therapy. I had foot surgery about 5 1/2 months ago and finally can walk with out help. Getting in the pool has helped that. I had been enjoying it so much, I signed up for a Sprint Triathlon. I'm not much of a swimmer, so this has helped me learn how to do the correct strokes and start increasing my strength and endurance. I love being able to just keep my head in the water and just feel like I'm all alone. So glad I saw someone at the pool that had this...it has made my pool time so much more enjoyable and is making my healing and progress go quicker because of the enjoyment.

Works amazingly. Easy to adjust and perfect for swimming. Only downside is it hurts your forehead. There isn’t enough padding to make this comfortable.

It was super comfortable to swim with and never got any water inside the snorkle while swimming and no need for a valve to get rid of water

I have used the Finis snorkles for years and have been very pleased at their duribility and ease of use. This is the first one I have gotten that does not have the diaphragm. I did this inadvertently as I am losing my mind as I get older, but it turned out to be a fortuitous mistake. This works as well as the one with the diaphragm. I think, although I have not tested my theory, that it works best for shorted swim times. But who knows. I only swim about a mile a day using swim cords attached to the side of my pool. For someone who is using them for training the first type might be best.Also I love that Finis is coming up with new colors.

I bought this to replace another Finis inline snorkel I've been using for 16 months. I see why they call it a "beginner" model. It does not fit me as well as the other one, which has the blow out valve below the mouthpiece. I find I get more water trapped in this one. The mouthpiece is less comfortable. I'll keep using it for a while to see if I get used to it, but my next one will be like my first one - the model with blowout valve.

This is the 2nd one I have gotten. It fits really well and is sturdy. Needed to replace due to constant use. Will but again in the future.
