Considering that these are supposed to be stainless steel I was shocked to see rust on them after only two weeks outside.

New house, New Deck / Porch ….. Oct, 2019 ….. Deck / Porch was constructed using galvanized and or stainless steel fasteners. The washers were needed to prevent any splitting of the boards near the ends, or edges, and as a finishing touch to my project. The washers are highly visable, and they looked good ………. until the sky's opened up, and the rains came. The washers have a light rust on them now, and winter has only just begun, we've not had any snow to speak of YET ….. I bought and applied a total of 2000 of these washers, I'm really not looking forward to seeing winters wrath on them come next spring. No I would not recommend, or buy anymore of these so called SS washers. CJ …. January 2020
