Finishing Cup washers in this selection are made of 18-8 stainless steel, with a black oxide finish. Black Oxide Fasteners made from stainless steel, have been chemically treated to alter certain qualities of the material, most notably the color. The treatment also adds a mild corrosion and abrasion resistance (in addition to the plain stainless steel’s nature), and reduces the now black oxide stainless steel fastener’s reflective properties.

The washers arrived sooner than expected, quality is good. But when I carefully separated them all out to spritz with Bronze paint for my project there were only 71 washers instead of 100.
