Pro-Lite Finless Coffin Series Surfboard Travel Bags
Available in 2-3 Board (pictured) or 3-4 Board Styles
Our Finless Coffin Series Surfboard travel bags are tough, durable and proven to offer optimum protection for the surfer taking either 2-3 or 3-4+ surfboards. These bags are designed for airline travel and and both styles are packing 10mm of foam to give you that extra protection your boards may need when they step in the ring with baggage handlers. Large exterior pockets with drainage will keep the crust off your boardshorts and the smile on your face. Internal dividers and 2mm thick board packer bags provide the perfect separation for your boards. Don’t worry about salted zips on this bag; all molded non-corrosive marine grade zippers will keep the movement smooth for the life of the bag. The Finless coffin series bags are the perfect option for those long haul international surf trips when you are taking multiple boards and extra gear.

Our Finless Coffin Series surfboard travel bags all feature molded non-corrosive marine grade zippers to extend their life and movement. Large exterior pockets allow for extra storage space.
External Compression Straps
Both Styles of finless coffin feature 4 external compression straps to help reduce any extra bulkiness from unused internal space.
Internal Seatbelt Straps
Both our finless coffin bags feature padded internal dividers while the 3-4 board version also includes a 2mm padded board packer bag to keep your boards separated and safe. Two internal Velcro seatbelt straps keep your boards secure during travel.
Comfortable and durable padded shoulder strap system helps keeps your hands free.
All finless coffin styles feature a full top opening for easy packing and padded internal dividers. A light board packer bag is also included with the 3-4 board style bag.

…What a Long, Strange Trip it's Been
Pro-Lite was conceived in the minds of two traveling surfers, Bill Hapgood and Dave Neilson. At the time the pair was working for a major airline and traveling the world. Soon into their travels they realized one key missing ingredient necessary to continue their journey, the need to protect their surfboards.
In 1982 Pro-Lite was born. Bill and Dave searched out industrial sewers in Costa Mesa, CA and began making a limited line of surf travel bags. This put Pro-Lite on the map as the first bag manufacturer to make travel grade surfboard bags in the United States.
As the brands reputation as a quality travel bag manufacturer grew surfers from the United States and around the world looked to Pro-Lite to provide them with the gear to get their surfboards to their destination safely. Professional surfers from around the world used Pro-Lite travel bags as they bounced around the world on tour.
Throughout the 90's Pro-Lite expanded its product offering outside of travel to include a full line of bags for day use as well as leashes, traction pads and car racks. This put Pro-Lite in a position to be the go to brand for any products used to enhance your surfing experience.
The evolution of Pro-Lite continues today with new owners in place since 2005 and a renewed energy and vision to design and manufacture functional and durable surfing accessories. Bought this to replace my surfboard bag for two boards. I was tired of trying to stuff them in. This bag made it super easy plus had lots Additional space for leashes to wetsuits lots of rash guards and other assorted items. Made packing super quick and easy. The board bag itself is very sturdy thick big zippers great on its way to Hawaii and back.

Great bag. Yes its big and heavy but would you rather have dings? It's not bad to drag by one end and has reinforced nylon patches that seem to hold up.

This bag sucks. I had to return it and it cost me $90 to send it back. Such a bummer! It weighs like 15 pounds empty. The bag needs wheels desperately. I ended up using an old bag and taking one less board because I needed 2 people to move it. Its just too big for a one man show. If you don't want to take my advice and see for yourself make sure you find a seller that offers free returns because the direct seller didn't.Such a bummer and I'm out 90 bucks

Definitely not so convenient for a one man show as another reviewer stated. I'm currently using it in Japan and it's not easy to schlep even with just two small boards in there. Needs wheels. I'm so short that wheels on the bottom (where the zipper doesn't go) would seem the most convenient location. Less strain on the body. Having schlepped it from the train station, transferring trains and then at the airport, I'm now sore. I would opt for a different bag altogether. I was advised getting the coffin model, but I don't that should be the guiding factor...depends on how you're going to use it and if you'll have help to transport.

Ok...Pros: It's a great bag that will keep your boards safe with all the compartments you'll need.CONS: This is a board coffin ment to carry 3 or more boards. The carrying strap provided is small and hurts your body. The center of mass is disconnected from the handle which makes it awkward for anyone to move it (including baggage handlers). The complete lack of thought that went into carrying this great bag makes it Heavy, burdensome and brutal to carry from one flight to another.
