I have been taking pottery classes and these work great for creating holes in the clay for things like luminaries. It releases the clay without any problems.

These are really sturdy clay cutters. No visible seam lines make cutting clay so much better. Highly recommend these.

Love the size selection and storage container. Sturdy. Work well although they do not have a sharp/fine edge for cutting clay... metal is a little thick so you have to push pretty hard which can smash intricate designs a bit. Still use them all the time.
