I bought this radio strap for use at my part time FD job. I’ve used radio straps for years and really haven’t had any issues other than an occasional broken rivet after many years of use. While this product is made in the USA the quality isn’t nearly as good as a Boston Leather product. The first time I used the strap I noticed something wasn’t right when I was taking it off. As seen by the photos the rivet holding the case and retaining loop came apart rendering it useless. While it’s an easy fix I shouldn’t have to fix it considering I got one use out of it.

Case strap and hardware all seem to be of generally good quality. However, they do not fit an EF Johnson Viking series radio. It probably will not fit any Motorola XTS series radios either.

At first wasn't sure about this holster, feeling like it is one more thing to drag around station to station. It's now my favorite peice of gear. No more looking for radio clips, trying shove it a pocket, or carrying it you hand.no cheap parts or materials. fully adjustable length.

I had this radio strap for about a week before the first clasp popped off. I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt so I held on to it. Week by week this thing loses another piece. Today, while at work, another clasp fell off so the last piece holding this thing together is now gone. It literally serves no purpose. I only use this on days when I ride the ambulance so it’s not like its exposed to all kind of different elements and thrown through the ringer on a daily basis. It most just sits.

As with other reviewers, the thin cheap rivets aren’t up to the task. 3 hours of wearing the radio strap, not doing anything extreme other than walking around a community event was as long as it lasted. I will be returning and spending the extra $$ for a proven brand. I figured I would give this one a chance but it’s not sturdy enough to do more than hang on a door knob.

The stitching on the strap is lousy. The strap is falling apart after a few months of usage. Look elsewhere.
