4.7 in top round vent. It can be ducted directly through the top venting hole of the unit, quickly ventilate your kitchen.
Back venting
6 x 2.4 in rectangular duct. It can be ducted for the back .The back vent is hidden,through use a tool to pry off the back hole.
Recirculation mode
Install the CC170 carbon filter (include) on the motor,turn the knob for recirculation mode. Replace to new one on every three months.

I looked for a very long time for a sleek new range hood to replace my very old ugly one. I needed a convertible or ductless one since the kitchen is not on the exterior wall. The noise level is just fine and the light is strong. It didn't take long for my handyman to install it for me and I absolutely love it!

I bought this as a present for my son's new house. It went in great and is surprisingly nicely finished and quiet and works well. It's a just a notch below hoods that cost three or four times as much. He is very happy with it.

looks modern and upgrades the kitchen look with new refrigerator matching well. Took some extra effort to fit the exhaust pipe just right, its not loud and the light is bright. Very pleased overall.

Despite the instructions you cannot mount it flush to a wall. The power cord is stupidly placed so that you can not mount it flush to the wall or to the bottom of the cabinet. Maybe some kitchens have a plug inside an upper cabinet for a vent hood, but my old one was hard wired.I can't tell how well it works as I have given up trying to find a way to install it, and am returning it.It looks good. It was value priced but worthless to me. Probably a great deal for a new kitchen where you can design your kitchen around this vent hood.

Easy to install. Fan is a bit noisy. Lighting is not adequate, not enough light to cook by, lights are more of a nightlight.

Replaced an older behemoth of a fan with this model. Now you can actually see the food you are cooking. I went ductless and the fan works great pulling the steam/smoke away from the cooking area.
