It does a good job of holding the wood and also the burning embers that keep it hot. Don't mind the debris underneath, my husband was trying to get the fire going with nothing to kindle really, so he got creative. Great value for the money. It functions great and it fits perfectly. Make sure you measure your fireplace first. Easy to install. Sturdy too. Easy to use. Great!

Quailty material. This product came so well wrapped that it took me a while to get through all the packaging. The curved edges help keep the logs where they need to be. The middle legs are a must, and the product has two, one on each side. The metal mesh that runs the full length of the grate is helpful, keeping smaller pieces from falling through. We are very happy with this product.

This grate is nice. I like the fact that it has 6 legs on the 24 inch model I purchased. Should give it more support in the middle. I only burned one small fire so far, but it worked fine. The height let plenty of air get under the fire. This seemed to burn better and I could feel more heat than just burning on the floor of the fireplace.

The Best open firegrate I have had in a long time,... (and believe me, I've bought a lot over the years!) just fall apart with the heat but this puppy was built to last with thick steel bar in the first place ... highly recommend it.

Sehr stabiles Teil. Formgenau geschweißt.Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.Muss ich allerdings für meinen Holzbackofen noch etwas anpassen. Das ist jedoch mein Problem und wird dem Teil nicht angelastet. Würde ich für den Preis wieder kaufen.
