I got this because my daughter started crawling and would pull up on our traditional fireplace gate and it would fall over on her. This is perfect. It looks great, it’s easy to install, fits perfectly, and even withstands my 25 pound 11 month old pulling on it.

We needed an immovable screen for our fireplace to pass a child safety inspection of our home. This screen was the cheapest, easiest fix for our situation. It comes with Command-style hooks that you attach to the wall around your fire place for easy installation. It did arrive slightly frayed at the corners but still works well enough to get the job done.

The size is just right. Installing was easy. Make sure you clean where you are going stick the hooks. They package 2 extra stickies just in case that are very sticky but if you get fireplace ash on them not good.

Does not stick well to uneven brick fireplace facing. And not planning to drill holes into it.

This was great to temporarily block our fireplace opening. It does not pull super taut, so it would not prevent a baby from leaning into the fireplace area.

The idea of this was awesome. I got this to keep my baby out of our fireplace. The hooks just would not stay stuck and he easily pulled it off many times.
