We do a lot of camping as a family and hauling firewood is always a chore. This firewood carrier makes it easy to haul wood to camp and it packs down super small. The material is very thick and I can see it lasting lasting a long time.

I ordered this log carrier for my brother in law. He has a house in the mountains and lives there full time. He has several fireplaces and he's always moving logs from the log pile to the fireplaces. This log carrier is almost perfect. The canvas is heavy duty and the straps reinforce the carrier very well. The only minor nit-pick I have is the strap to secure the carrier closed is just a loop strap that takes a minute to secure. It would be much better if this was a velcro-type strap. However, most of the time, I think this will be used without the strap at all or the strap will always remain closed so it's not that big of a deal. In every other way, this item is excellent and it will be a great gift.
