Wasn't sure about this tool when ordered it . But now when splitting wood I grab this tool even before the maul

This thing MIGHT work on a piece of kiln dried spruce but forget about splitting anything else. Making matters worse, the shank is SQUARE! How many drills or hammer drills are there that accept a square shank?? None that I know. All in all this is a piece of junk... guess I could use it for a fishing weight but that's about it.

You have to only drill in smalll sections. Too big and it gets stuck and may rip your arm off.?

This works great for dry soft wood. If the wood is hard and dense IT WILL BREAK YOUR WRIST.

Works great but the wood I have on hand, (elm) is too stout for the drill to screw it into the wood.

I can not split even a small, soft log a few inch thick. Does not punch in and get stuck easily. If you try to rotate back to get the tool unstuck, the rod get unscrewed. It is just rubbish, a really waste of money and a full disappointment.

Needed something to split some of the firewood I have for a smoker. This is lacking in instructions and inexperience so get you stuck when you "bite off" more than this splitter can handle. you will get stuck and it is a pain to remove. Once you get the hang of it, it works well.

Der Schaft zum einspannen ins Bohrfutter ist ein VIERKANT (was soll das?🫣)Der Schaft ist mit einem normalen Rechtsgewinde in den Kegel reingeschraubt; bleibt der Keil mal stecken und geht nicht mehr weiter kann man ihn auch nicht zurückdrehen da sich das Gewinde rausdreht.Habe nun den Schaft mit dem Keil verschweißt🤔. Man muss sich ja zu helfen wissen.
