I thought it was going to be a little taller and wider but that's not a deal breaker for me. It's compact but it actually holds a lot more wood than I first expected looking at it's size put together. It holds 9 of the instant light logs as the bottom and 2 bundles of regular wood. Its sturdy and holds our fire place tools. It's too short to hold some of the longer accessories but able to hold the ones a little shorter saving us some room.

Item came well packaged. It went together relatively easily. Metal seems of decent quality, not a lot of burrs or anything like that. It lined up relatively well, and is fairly sturdy. It is smaller than I was hoping, but it does hold a pretty decent amount of wood. We are using this in our garage for kindling and split wood for our fire pit.I would certainly use this indoors, as I don't think this would hold up too well in the elements. (AKA Rust) But it does what it is supposed to do, looks pretty good, just wish it was a little bigger. But I will make do.For those reasons I think 4 is a fair rating for this unit.

Good quality, sturdy, nice size for next to your fireplace. I measured my hearth and searched every indoor firewood rack on Amazon to find one that fit. I wanted mine on the brick hearth, as opposed to on the carper next to it, and this one fit perfectly. It holds about 32 pieces of wood of various sizes. It keeps me from having to make so many trips to the outdoor wood racks, which each hold a half cord. Now, I can load up this rack, start a fire and watch a movie or two without going out for more wood. Much better than the basket we used to use which only held 5 or 6 pieces of wood.If it is the size you want, it's great.

I would give 4.5 stars if I could, because the hanger hooks are located on the inside (wood storage area) of the rack making them almost useless for all but very short tools. Aside from that, this is the BEST fireside wood holder I've ever had! It actually holds enough firewood for a few evenings of fires, or a good full day! I use it with my traditional fireplace used partly to heat my family room but mostly for the pure enjoyment factor. One could put kindling on top, logs on the bottom. I put heavy split logs on top and bottom and keep my thinnly split kindling in a metal bucket. I pack this guy tight and FULL with dry oak, walnut, and maple hardwoods and it is holding up great!

Purchased for use by my fireplace. The rack is well made and fairly heavy duty. Assembly was very easy and just took a few minutes. I expect to get a lot of years of use from this rack. Rack holds plenty of wood for my needs.
