Nice design, much easier to use than the ones in my sewing box.

Neither worked for me. I had to find a needle thin enough to fit in the funnel of the yellow threader. For the green one, my sewing machine needles only fit one way, looking at the hole. So, it can’t fit. You have to hold the green threader left to right. Waste of my money.

The fishes did not work, but the yellow threader worked every time! I tried both small and larger eyed needles and the yellow threader made threading easy without magnifiers or cussing! If you can see the eye well enough to turn it correctly in the threader, it will thread it!The fish were hard to get through the eyes and usually lost the thread when you pull them back through. If you got just 2 yellow threaders, this would be a better deal! Still, not hugely expensive so good!...

Couldn't get them to pull thread toward the back of my machine as required on my Singer.

I got these because it's harder for me to see to thread a needle. Last time it took me about 8 tries to get it threaded and that was with readers on. So when I first opened these up I wasn't sure had they worked so I looked at the instructions for the item on the listing. After that tried both devices out threading a needle for a button repair for a coat. Both work great and they worked on needles with both small and large openings.

This set comes with 10 little fish shaped threaders and 1 yellow needle threader. The fish are tiny, but they do work. You slide it along the needle until the little hook slides through the needle eye, hook your thread on the hook and pull it through the needle. I've included photos to try to demonstrate how to do this. You may need to practice a few times until it becomes easy to do, but once you get it, it's easier to thread your machine's needle. The other threader works great for threading other needles, just place the needle in the slot, and make sure the eye is pointing in the correct position to allow the hook to pass through the eye. Once the hook is through the needle, place your thread over the hook and release the trigger, pulling the thread through the eye. See photos. I found this to be very helpful, and much easier to thread my needle in a shorter period of time than making multiple attempts to do so unaided. Personally I found the yellow device easier to use than the fish, because with failing eyesight it was still a bit of a challenge to get the fish hook through the needle's eye, but like I said, with a little practice it does get easier.Overall they are both effective for their stated purpose, and I will continue to use them as my eyesight isn't what it used to be and threading needles has become harder.
