Bought this for my 6 month old grandson for Christmas and it quickly became his favorite.His face lit up the minute he saw it. It lights up, plays music, is super soft and is adorable. This is perfect for a girl or boy and would be great for an infant toddler, or young child. It is very cute and cuddly. It would be very comforting to a child who has a fear of the dark, as it lights up just a bit. Its like having a nightlight in your arms. I am very, very happy with it . It's small enough that it can be carried around by a small child, even put in a mother's purse or diaper bag. This would make a great baby shower gift, it's great for a girl or boy.

This is a MUST HAVE for any baby in my family! Pink one for girls...blue one for boys =) It has a high/low volume setting which is nice. It's nice finding that binky or "lovey" in the middle of the night without having to turn on the lights. The soft glow from his belly is just enough light to find what you're looking for. Plays nice soft music for a while letting the little one fall off to sleep. This is durable. Has lasted years with multiple grandchildren getting use from it. I highly recommend this product!

My Granddaughter loves it! The music is soothing and beautiful. The lights are beautiful and the battery life has been amazing. Very lightweight and the size is perfect for my one year old.

These seahorses work really well in calming babies to sleep. Every time I give them as baby gifts the people are excited and think their Really unique and cute. They play lullabies and the tummy lights up and glows. Definitely recommend. Easy operation, Battery life is really good,. Their definitely for little babies and even ones that are a couple years old.

I have purchased one of these for every child I have. This would be the 4th one.Pros: Great gift for a new born baby.Sound is adjustable (keep it on low)Affordable and stories will function for months.Easy to use and perfect size for little ones.They are safe inside with a newborn.Machine washable (Remember to remove music box first!!)Cons:Can be loud if you have on wrong setting for a newborn.

My first daighter got a glow worm 11 years ago and it gave up the ghost so I was hoping this was the same, but it's not. The glow worm had 3 functions with a medium volume enough to soothe the infant holding it (no volume control). It had a demo function that would play a few moments of a single tune with a glow function (it would stop the tune at the end of aapptopraite area (I.e. you could sing twinkle twinkle little star how I wonder what you are. And the song would end), an option of one full song with glow, or just glow with no tune. I was hoping this was the same.It's a cute little seahorse and super soft. My 7 month old loves it. All switches are on the battery pack which is velcrowed into the toy. The battery pack also has the might and music player attached and can be removed entirely. It has a volume loud or volume soft switch and a seperate switch that turns it off, demo (only 10 seconds of a song) with light, or a full song after another song after another song... I dont know how long it goes for but it doesnt stop until it has played all of the songs (lost count maybe 12?).So here are my beefs with the toy. My kids are annoyed that after 10 seconds the toy ends the song with a fade and bubble sound, which if your kid loves to sing, it stops mid sentence or lingers after it should have ended. My other beef is that the music doesnt stop when the tummy is pressed and just keeps playing. So the baby cannot turn it off or change the song. The music is cute but it's frustrating that it doesnt turn off unless I manually open the toy and flip it off. If you are a parent, you know that when the littles see you open up any toy it like ruines the "magic" of said toy and now they either loose interest in the toy or think they figured out some secret and wont stop messing with the battery pack (so for safety reason the toy ends up getting taken away and tears and drama follow...).If it had a nightlight only function that would be awesome, but its not a huge deal.So if they fixed those 2 major things, I would totally love this toy and keep it as long as possible as it would be a home run.I haven't washed it yet, but it looks like it will clean up well in a washing machine on gentle in a mesh bag, after you take out the battery pack of course.Overall it is a good buy and my daughter likes it. I think though she will grow bored of it since the music doesn't stop and I'm not going to turn it off in front of her. It will be good for bedtime so maybe it will be her crib toy only (like a white noise).Going to admit the constant "bubble" sounds going off durning the music is already getting on my nerves too, and this is day 1 of it being used.

All my kids have loved this toy. I had to buy a new one because the other one was loved to death. My small babies didn't care about it, but once they get to around 15mo, it is an inseparable part of their collection. It helps relax them and cue them into nap or bed time.They can wiggle their little fingers into the velcro on the back and mess with the buttons, but they cant get to the batteries, so it isn't a big deal. I will buy again if our current one breaks.

The music is very soothing I use it every time I feed and my baby loves it! I just wish there was an even lower volume setting because at night the at its lowest its a bit loud but other than that im very happy with it.
