Got this to put in the toy kit for when friends with children visit me and it's been a hit. I'm definitely a plant lady so having 'plants' for little kids to play with so I can show them how to 'take care of them' (without risking my actual plants) is a fun way to connect and play. They're also pretty for children's toys and not taking up space with colors that are over the top and also the wood is a nice surprise. Glad that we're getting back to making toys with natural materials.

I absolutely love this set! I’ve been realizing that my child doesn’t always love the toys I expect him to, but this one has been a hit. It’s a bit more pretend play-oriented than I originally thought, but he really enjoys it. He loves helping his dad plant things in real life, and I think this set makes him feel like he’s doing the same. The quality seems great, and it’s also very aesthetically pleasing. Overall, it’s a well-made, charming playset that has been a wonderful addition to our collection

This is a fun and very cute pretend gardening toy. I love that it is made out of wood. Each piece is made well. No chipping or rough edges. The little water spray pump actually moves up and down, which my girls love! The scissors open as well, but you can't hold them as you would real scissors to pretend to cut. The only thing I find slightly odd is that you have what seems like an incomplete pot set. You can fill one of the pots with 3 "plants/herbs" plus sign. And the other pot had an empty slot, with only 2 plants and sign. I realize you can move around the pieces but why not just make it complete? No other pieces fit in those slots. But overall, the quality and fun factor are there.

Kids had fun playing with this and gave us a chance to talk about plants and how to take care of them. The engineering here is pretty good. It's mostly painted wood but they also used some other materials to make the inside of the pots soft (minimizes noise too - which is appreciated) and the spray bottle is also spring loaded. Overall, a fun set.

This arrived in the branded box as shown and had all the pieces advertised. All the pieces are extremely sturdy with perfect paint and other details. There are no rough or sharp edges. The "scissors" move easily and the water bottle makes a fun noise when you press it. The herbs and little sign slip into the pots smoothly and stay inside even when moving the pots around. For the price (currently about $15), this is a great little addition to my daughters play kitchen as she adds some "seasoning" to her foods. She's definitely older than the intended audience but she loves this. And, since it's F-P, I trust that it's safe for my family. I absolutely recommend this.

Our two-year-old grandson is to the stage where he is enjoying pretend play and this set is a fun way for him to tend his garden like when the adults are working on their projects.The wood isn't perfectly finished but I like the idea that our grandson has more toys that are "real" as opposed to everything being plastic and electronic.Overall, I'm happy with the "Fisher-Price Preschool Toy Wooden Herb Garden and Tools Playset, 12 Wood Pieces for Pretend Play Kids Ages 3+ Years".

This Fisher-Price Wooden Herb Garden Playset is absolutely amazing, and my toddler loves it! Although it’s marked for ages 3 and up, my younger toddler enjoys it in his own way—putting the leaves in the slots and spraying the herbs. It’s both entertaining and a great way to encourage fine motor skills.The set is super cute and well-made, with a charming design that makes it fun for kids and aesthetically pleasing for parents. As you can see in my pictures, this set is so terribly cute. There are snips and a trowel for any imaginative child to play along with mom, dad, grandma, or grandpa. The pots have foam in the bottom of them, so the herbs sit up high and have a spongy feel at the base. It feels very nice and very well made. There is a spray bottle with a spring-action top that helps mimic a real bottle. Overall, a wonderful set and a guaranteed imagination builder.
