Product being reviewed: Fisher-Price Toddler Toy Pound & Tap Bench Xylophone Musical Activity, 6 Wood Pieces for Kids Ages 18+ MonthsGot this for our one year old and it's a hit! The balls hit the xylophone when pushed through the holes and it makes a nice and not too loud sound. The effort to push the balls through isn't too difficult or too easy. The xylophone is easily removed with the handle and sounds nice too. Quality seems good overall, except for the hammer. The hammer head broke off after only a couple days of use. This is disappointing and I really wish companies would make these types of things in one piece instead of gluing them on. The glue always fails and then it becomes a choking hazard. The other thing I'll note is the device itself is all wood but the wood is soft pine or something. There are lots of dents on it now that it has had some use. Overall, this is a great toy, however, I'd supervise with the hammer since the top can come off.

Our toddler and 5 yr old loves this toy. I wish the metal parts were a little looser so that the notes were louder, they tend to clink rather than sing when tapped with the hammer or balls but overall it is a fun little toy to explore sounds with. It is very sturdy and would even make a great little family heirloom to save for hopeful grandkids one day.

This Toy Pound & Tap Bench Xylophone is a great musical activity toy that keeps my toddler engaged and entertained. I like that it is made of wood and designed with rounded edges and non-toxic materials. This toy is colorful, sturdy and well made. I like that there are different ways to play with toy, my kid can pound the balls to make music or play the xylophone separately. This toy is a great way to introduce my toddler to the joy of music, rhythm and to explore sounds. I like this toy because it is educational, engaging, and fun.

Fisher-Price has been the top choice brand for my family dating back to when I was a baby almost 40 years ago. I still have some of the toys from when I was a baby that I've had my little ones play with - which is a testament to its quality as a brand.This Xylophone was something my musically inclined little one was drawn to immediately. Here's a few things my wife and I loved about the to.- Wooden and metal so it is really easy to clean/disinfect especially after playdates- The rainbow colors make it a great teaching tool to teach your little ones about all the colors of the rainbow- It is made with FSC certified wood, so you know it is a responsibly sourced toy- It is currently reasonably priced under $205/5. Highly recommended, especially if your little one loves music!

Very nice wood construction and it feels like it’s sturdy and built to last! I got this for future use for my baby (currently 31 weeks) and were only buying non-electronic low stimulation toys for better brain development and imaginative play. This toy fits in those categories and I’m very excited for when she’s old enough to play with this toy.

The Fisher-Price Wood Pound & Tap Bench Xylophone is a fun toy and looks nice. Unfortunately, my 19m daughter would rather throw the wooden balls than play with them in the bench. She makes us too nervous with the balls!

The 2 YO granddaughter enjoys it, but the xylophone sounds horrible. It make very little noise with any tone other than just her pounding on it with the hammer. It's cute and clever, but I can't recommend this.

This Fisher-Price musical toy is interactive. The toy can be used a couple of different ways. By leaving the three balls on the top and the xylophone down below, the ball can be pounded down to land on top of the xylophone creating music.The xylophone can also be removed and played separately. As well as the three balls can be placed on the top row and hammered down with the wooden mallet that was provided.The size of this toy is adequate for smaller children. The age on the packaging suggest 18 months and over.The colors are bright and vibrant and happy. The balls are solid, so could hurt someone or something if thrown too hard.Overall, this toy is great! One of the balls seems to go through the hole too easily, but for the most part, this toy gets a high rating.
