I use these to make demon dragons. I can paint them any color I want and they are very well made. They work great for me when I go after catfish. I will continue to use them. They arrived exactly as described and the shipping was in a timely manner. The service was great.

I’m using these for catfish to float my bait just off the bottom. If you buy the original they’re about $8 each.I got a bag of these cheap and used Rustoleum primer for plastic then whatever spray paint I happen to have. They’re only a few inches off the bottom when being used so I don’t have to get to detailed with them. I didn’t even stick on the eyes that come with them. They float and rattle great. That’s all I need. The painting just makes sure they are sealed good.I’m catching catfish using them in my Santee rigs.

Seems like a good product. They are heavier for sure than real whopper ploppers, they do float but not as buoyant. The plop sound is also not as pronounced. I have enjoyed painting them. Id recommend using these on calm(er) waters without much surface agitation. They seem to track well and do put off a decent wake. Ill keep using them as its much less heartache to lose a $1.50 lure than a $12 whopper plopper. I definitely wish these werent as heavy as they are but for the price im not going to complain. I cant wait to try these on the river and some of the local lakes I fish.

i saw this originally on youtube and the guy who showed them paid $20. i paid less now of course. you can custom paint these things with whatever colors you want and equip it with whatever hooks you want. this is what makes it nice that you can create your own custom plugs for fishing. and if you lose them it only costs you less than $2 to make compared to other plugs already made going for $10-$15.. so if you like using lures or plugs get these. will save you lots of money and it won't break the bank is you lose it.

These will leak if you do not seal them after you receive them. I had water getting inside mine and had to seal them up. I used clear fingernail polish. Couple coats and it should be good.I used these instead of peg floats for bottom fishing.

My husband loves these. He hand paints them and they even catch fish!

Bought these blanks on sale. Six bucks for twenty… even at Walmart it is average price for one crank bait. Happened to have fish eyes laying around; fit well. Easy spray paint in any color you want! Awesome budget option! Where I fish there are many snags; I don’t have to be upset anymore if I lose a lure or two. Thank you for cool project!

Well you get what you pay for. I got these to use as catfish leader rattle floats (aka demon dragons). Well they have a nice rattle sound and you can easily spray paint them the colors of your choice. Problem is THEY LEAK!! The one shown was used less than one hour. The photo was taken on the afternoon after using the morning of the same day and it’s already rusting inside. They should be sealed, but every one I used leaked whether painted or not. So don’t waste your money, just use a peg float or go ahead and spend for the real thing. I guess I’ll try to seal these with super glue or something to salvage the rest of them.

Arrived early and in great condition. I rated these as a "4" because I haven't had a chance to finish them and evaluate their fishing performance.
