I use this with my grandson fishing in the little creek behind the house. There's a lot to choose from in here. Picking out what to try out is almost as much fun as the fishing is. The box that they're in is good, too, especially for a young one that can easily loose stuff. First we tried some worms on the hooks and just drop fished. We caught a few Flat Fish and other throwbacks but then he tried one of the lures. Caught a nice little bass but it was ready to have babies so we threw it back. It's early in the season, so this will help the population. We'll try more as the season moves along but we'll have plenty of choices from an assortment of sturdy and easy to use lures and fittings.

Perfect to go with the two poles I have in the back seat of the truck. The only thing I was missing for a good lunchtime fishing run was this kit. It's got it all, hooks, all different types of lures from worms, even a little frog. Has larger ones good even for deep sea or pier. Quite the kit. You will want to get more weights and your own string of course, but as far as an "under the seat" set, it's perfect.Good amount of items for the price. Before I start, it is important to note that this is a LURE kit; if you are looking for a basic fishing kit it is not for you. I have been trying to put together a fishing kit for a set of newbies (my grandsons and their mom and dad) when I stumbled upon this. For setting up a new tackle box with a selection of lures this is a good start at a great price. The box is full of a lot of basics needed to start lure fishing. The tackle box itself is small and cheaply made (it’s nothing more than a storage case in my opinion and when I first opened it hooks spilled out on my table) but it is packed with a good assortment of hooks, spoons, jigs, poppers, plastic lures, swivels, etc. The lures look to be nicely made and have life-like action when I tested them in the water. There is a good selection of plastic baits in a variety of colors. For adding lures to a basic fishing tackle box this is a good purchase.I don’t have a lot of complaints regarding this kit. Other than the box it comes in, it is a pretty good starter set of lures. It could use a few more sliding weights and a some smaller hooks, but these are minor issues. Overall it gets a thumbs up from me.
