I cannot believe how functional and convenient this is. I got it as a crayon sharpener for my 4yo, and it works great for that, but you can sharpen pencils with this thing, too. Empties easily, but it *does* sometimes come open and dump out on its own, particularly if you let it get really full. It's really easy to use, and looks cute sitting out. This is the best non-motorized sharpener I've ever used.

Ordered this for my son for school. Works great. Sharpens skinny and fat pencils. The wrong color was sent (ordered blue but they sent pink) but it’s okay.

If you have issues with your hands just do a few at a time. You have to keep squeezing while you sharpen the crayon. It works ok but some brands of crayons don’t sharpen as good as others.
