These little scissors are great for my crochet work and they fold down very neatly to protect the sharp points. They would be excellent for travel or just to carry in a bag. Also good around small children because they are a little tight when opening up but that’s what I want so no one can easily get cut.

There is no need to buy a Victorinox Swiss Army knife just for the scissors, because these good quality scissors are lightweight and have more cutting surface area than all of the Victorinox Swiss Army knife models !

This item is small and folds up great. The only downside is that it is a little difficult to unfold. I took this on the plane for crafting and had no issues with security.

These proved to be one of my most important, go-to tools while on a summer-long bicycle tour recently. They are good sissors, yet fold up compactly with no point tips.

These are perfect! They fit well into my knitting tools pouch and easily snip my yarn. They can be a little difficult to fold and unfold but I see this as a plus because I know they won’t open inside of my pouch.

These scissors didn’t seem sharp and yet still managed to cut my palm as I went to close them. Don’t know waste your money—I’d rather deal with nail clippers for my yarn.

Sorry, but I expected more from FISKARS considering the brand and price. These are sharper, stronger, and better scissors than the all-metal folding ones. If you need a TSA-compliant pair for crafts or more cutting, these are probably your best choice. For general travel and carry, I'll stick to the metal folding ones.The biggest problem is the handle. It's cheap plastic that is difficult to fold and doesn't even lock flush in place. They feel like kindergarten scissors except for the blades.You will have to oil these before use. It helped the blades, but the handle is still very still.

These are the best, sturdiest folding scissors. I've had several pairs. They are NOT airport safe in Australia (nothing is).

DO NOT PURCHASE if you intend to use these on flights.Purchased this product because it was listed as suitable for airline travel.Unfortunately airport security disagrees and these were confiscated and placed in the bin.If you aren't intending to fly, these are quite nice and compact scissors.
