I love having good tools at my disposal. If I could only have one tool, it would be these Fiskars 9†titanium blade scissors. I’ve had mine for years, cutting paper, blister packs, fabric, wire, etc. and they still are sharp and undamaged. My grown children are each receiving for Christmas a goody bag of Fiskars: 9†titanium scissors, garden shears and travel sewing kit.

I purchased a pair of these about 7 years ago for everyday use, AND I've loved them from Day 1. They easily cut through everything I use. I finally decided to get another pair for my kitchen area. They're great for, among many other things, all the plastic we get these days when we have to unwrap new merchandise, coated twist ties, etc. They're not only sharp, and remain so, but the handle is perfect for everyone. I can't find anything bad to say about them. I'm 80 years old, so I've gone through a lot of scissors. These are tops.I really didn't need a second pair, but I feared that, some day, they would go off the market, and I could not imagine being without a pair for the rest of my years.

This is the second pair I have purchased…the first that I purchased a few years ago was for a different location and still going strong. Exactly what I had in mind for a sharp, all-purpose pair of scissors. I like that they are large, comfortable to use and the long blades add to the efficiency. Although there are less costly choices available, these are reliable and do the job with little effort. I expect them to last. Recommend.

If you do not have these it is easy to confuse them with regular good quality scissors. They are not. This review is about scissors so I will cut to the chase. My Sheer amazement comes from them never getting dull. They can trim through anything skinnier than a dime.

I ordered several of these for my various individual crafting stations. Thy are so easy to use, with a heavy duty quality for cutting paper. I don’t use my paper cutter as often as these really cut a straight edge beautifully.

These work great for cutting to clear plastic packaging on most items nowadays without the worry of cutting yourself, also works great for cutting other items related to the packaging or zip ties and other materials like this.The scissors are strong and durable and the serrations on the teeth cut through materials like butter, I would still be careful not to over exert a ton of pressure to cut through the material if it's something thicker than what the scissors are meant to cut!But for most everyday packages containing plastic or zip ties or plastic wrapping these scissors cut great and have no problems. I got tired of trying to find a razor blade or buying cheap package openers or buying other types of scissors and dulling them to open plastic or cut through zip ties.

Bought the Milwaukee ones, twice: rusted on first contact with water.Assorted Sabatier style dedicated kitchen ones: all go loose, require regular sharpening, and while good with food aren't much cop with packaging etc.These are superb.Sharp to the very tip, 'grippy', light, and as yet undefeated by any challenge.It's a shame they're not officially dishwasher safe, but I imagine they'll be fine when I eventually forget and put them in.Years of looking for decent kitchen scissors over.A solid purchase.
