My wife’s 2013 Explorer was having the known issue with the rear a/c leaking. I tried a new set of seals and O rings which only lasted a few days. Rather than keep messing with it I decided to give these a try.The O rings it comes with are ok, what they give you is two larger and two smaller. I guess the idea is to skip using the factory plate with the rubber seal. What I found is that the smaller O rings are a bit too large, but also the larger O rings will not give you a good seal. What I ended up doing is using a new set of factory O rings and seals. The larger O ring fits well in the new block off plate so I left it in place and put the factory spacer/seal over it. I put the factory O ring on the cylindrical part and assembled.I vacuumed for about a half hour, and put back in approximately 1/2 of the recommended charge from the data plate on the radiator support. Nice and cold now.Hope this helps

The grooves that are machined out for the o-rings are cut way too deep, which makes the o-rings very sloppy and therefore would never seal. Completely wrong. Don't waste your money.

Ford quoted my about 4k to replace the hard AC lines on my 2013 explorer. Thank goodness I looked up a solution and this saved me tons! The front AC is still enough to cool my truck!

The cuts for the O-Rings are too deep for the included o-rings. We attempted to use thicker a/c o-rings and these still leaked. These could be a very good product if that issue was resolved.

This product was advertised to fit my 2014 Ford Explorer. It appears to be the wrong style for this application. The original design uses a steel / rubber gasket and an O-ring this design is two O-rings, does not seal properly.

This product fits my 2012 Ford Explorer. It passed the leak test and front AC works perfect.
