These run very small. My son has a 1 in another brand which is perfect and this size 2 he can't pull on. Quality is very nice.

I'm 5 ft 4 in and 170 lbs, female. I'm very athletic so my build is complex for all gi. Been looking for a good fit on pants and can say this one is the one. I bought a size 3 ( normally is grossly huge on me) but this size 3 fit perfectly. 2 is too small of course so I had planned to get this tailored down to my liking. Well, I don't have to do that since it's a perfect fit :) size chart doesn't lie to follow it. Only exception is if you're heavier but athletic, you can go a size down.

Chose these pants (size 5, black), since the description said it could be used for Taekondo. I have been a martial artist for many years, and practice high kicks (spin kick, kick to the head, etc.). But these feel too tight. Every kick I try to make I can feel the pant pulling to my tight even though it has an hexagonal crotch and my legs are not bulky (I am 5ft 9in and 184 pounds). Also, the length of the pant raise is too long which is also uncomfortable for kicking. If you fold the waist elastic, is a little bit better, but then your socks show. These can work for casual training.

My "not-so-tiny" tiny human is just shy of 4'4" and 83 lbs. We've been having issues with her previous gi because it didn't cover her rear end very well when she would squat or kick, but that brand's next size was HUGE on her.These pants (size 1) have ample space for her growing body and an appropriately long inseam. It looks like we won't have to roll the bottoms, though we will as we walk through snow to get into the dojo. The waistband has plenty of space to grow and a good strength string to tighten and tie. The material itself is a good thickness and not see through. I'm ordering a second pair as backup.I just received them, so I'm not sure how well they will hold up with washing, but I will update this review as we go. As of now, 5 stars and a high recommendation from this mom who is tired of reminding her kid to hike up her pants.
