This riding sun shirt is adorable, featuring mesh in all the right areas. The solid fabric is stretchy and comfortable, making it a joy to wear. However, the fit is quite snug. I usually wear a medium, which tends to be loose on me, but this shirt fits tightly. I recommend ordering at least one size larger, as these shirts tend to run small. The extra stretch in the fabric does help accommodate the snug fit.

To be honest, I ordered this for three reasons. One is that I plan to take up trail and ring riding this year. Another is the fact that it is a protective UPF 50 shirt. The third is that this half-zip style of neckline is extremely flattering to myself and many others, I'm sure.The thumbholes are extremely practical, as is the breathable mesh in the armpit. I've worn the shirt while working today and it is very comfortable.I will say that the arms are somewhat tight, but not uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the sizing is not accurate, and a medium actually fit like a small. Definitely need to order a size up. The mesh insets under the arms and sides don't seem to be made of a good quality fabric because it is itchy and a distraction. The main silky fabric is soft and feels nice on the skin. The neck zipper is a nice quality with a lining behind it so you don't feel the zipper against your skin. The collar is comfortable either up or folded down. Too bad for the sizing issue, because I probably could have made it work despite the itchy mesh. Disappointing.

I am 5’3â€, 115LBS, 35C, straight/not curvy figure. I did not want a tight fit so I ordered size Large – that was a good plan. The top is quite fitted & my chest just fits. This is not a top for a large bust. It is comfortably loose everywhere else but not at all baggy.It is well made & the mesh inserts provide good ventilation and also style. I am NOT an equestrian – I wear this top biking/hiking/walking/etc.I turned inside-out & machine washed in cold water, hung to dry. It comes out great.

This is a beautiful fitted shirt, which I will wear for layering. I’m not a horse rider, but I like shirts that aren’t bulky to wear under jackets etc. This shirt is stretchy with long sleeves, and a half zip neckline. It comes in several colors, and the pictures seem to represent the true colors. The size chart is accurate.
