We almost purchased a different telescopic paddle with dock hook but decided to try this one since it was a third of the price. Granted, it only had one review, but we figured it worth the gamble. And, the gamble paid off.We received two of these paddles for $10 less than the price for ONE of the other brand. They are sturdy, tighten as they should, and extend a perfect length for both docking and/or emergency rowing. I wouldn't use it as an every day paddle, so I can't attest to that, but for our powerboat, they are the perfect addition and store easily without taking up a lot of room.

I bought this paddle to use on our boat. I liked the fact it was extendable to 72", but stored at a shorter length. It works great. Good buy for the price!

I bought this more as a push pull than a paddle. My boat is a bit too big to actually paddle around, but I needed something to push off of the dock, etc.I like that this thing has a hook on one end in case I need to pull myself back towards something. The telescopic handle seems like it will work well, and it seems to be built well. I managed to squeeze it into my center console which I thought it may not fit into. Overall, good lil paddle.

I purchased this paddle to put in my boat. I gave the old one away when I sold my other boat. OOPS! It was a great deal! It is small enough to stow easily below the deck and adjusts to a longer handle. Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you Amazon for always having a great selection!

These have worked great for us. They serve as a backup paddle for our boat and we use them every time out to grab the dock cleats when we dock. We’ve got a 23’ cabin cruiser and they have held up great.

These are light and easy to handle. I wouldn't use them where I thought I might be having to push off rocks or the bottom . The T handle is convenient but when you change the length it is hard to get the t squared up with the paddle blade. This is very uncomfortable. If you play with it a little you can get it to line up. The fact that it telescopes is a nice feature to adjust to taller or shorter paddlers.

Winter is still here but the paddle is as described and seems quite functional. What I like about it is is colloapses so it won't take up much room on my boat.

They are compact for storage but are not really strong. I would not plan on using them to paddle with on a regular basis just once in a while.
