I clay before I polish or fix scratches and chips on my family's cars. Most recently, my wife's black Odyssey minivan was scratched up by a bush that attacked the passenger side. Unprovoked, I'm sure. I used a bar from this kit after a double wash and alcohol wipe, using a bottled clay lube from another company. It really pulled out a lot of stuff in the paint while the blue didn't mark up the clear coat. Keep it lubed! I followed up with an alcohol-based wipe and ultimate compound and polish to make the scratches disappear entirely. I put the used clay back into the preservation box provided so that I could do the rims the next day. It's the first time having a box like that -- I used to just grab a Ziplock. Works well.It also comes with tablets to create a lube, which I've used for the first time. I like the simplicity of a premix. When the premix is empty, I'll mix a tablet and see how it works. The price point is solid, and it stores well. 5/5

Well designed little kit, after use containers are a plus as long as you allow things to dry completely. For the price they are great, they work as advertised. Works well on sap and bugs have not tried it on anything really tough. will have to give it a try on the work truck the first chance I get.

I used this on my white car to get rid of impurities like break dusts. It definitely does the job well. My car looks amazing after. I've used other brands before and I don't see much difference between them. It was easy to use out of the box. The clay bar itself isn't soft, it felt the same as other clay bars I've used through the years. The clay bar has been. Stored for several weeks and it is still working great!

First time using a clay bar and I was actually surprised at how much extra stuff was in the paint. Comes with multiple bars so was a little less worried about ruining a bar as there were so many extras. Great value overall and while I won’t use them every time I clean my car as it takes a bit of time, having the tool to really clean up the paint is great.

I've clayed my cars for years, and after purchasing all different types, I'm a pretty good judge of what works and what doesn't. These FiveJoy clay bars are a great value for the price point. It comes nicely packed into a jar with the 5 bars, the lubricant tablets, and a application box. You don't have to use the lubrication tabs or the application box, but they are there for extra use if you are new to claying your vehicle.The clay stays together, I didn't have any chunks tearing off or sticking to the paint, as long as there was a mist of water on the paint there was no issues. They didn't leave behind and gummy streaks or any type of discolor or dye bleed. They aren't the easiest to use, they have some friction to them, but you want that to get the hefty grime and sap off. If you have a vehicle covered with old bird poop marks and tree sap, then you want a clay like this. Overall, for the multi-application use kit, the quality of the clay, and the price point, these bars are an excellent value and I give them 5 Stars!

A bit too good to be true. Clay bars are pricey for a reason, it costs money to make a good one. These might be good in a pinch or for some light duty, but definitely not made for a big job. They seem to lose their structure in heat. If you're in a bind sure, but don't expect these to be up to par as better brands.

This is a much cheaper option then going with some of the higher end clays and it shows. I wanted to clay one of our cars and decided to get this and now I regret it.Pros-You get a bunch of clay for the price-I like the little box you get with the kit to keep the clay clean-There are tablets that you dilute in water and use as lubricateCons-Once the clay bar is wet it starts to like melt-It takes a long time to clay a small space

Great value here. You get 5 clay bars which are all a good size, and 10 tablets that work as lubricant spray. The clay is a good consistency. It's easily moldable, but still retains it's shape and is heavy enough to get into tight places on the car and scrub it clean. This stuff works great for bugs/tar, and does a great job cleaning before you put on your protective film of choice. It even comes with a little container to save the clay bar you just used.5 stars for sure. They clay bars work great, and are a great value.
