Fizik Tempo Powerstrap R5 | Versatile road cycling shoe
A versatile road cycling shoe with a foot-wrapping Velcro closure that provides an enveloping fit and an R5 outsole that delivers a balance between comfort and pedaling efficiency.
POWERSTRAP
While most Velcro closures simply pull together two sides of the shoe’s upper, in this configuration a ribbon wraps around the foot, enabling ultimate comfort and containment using just two straps.
VOLUME CONTROL
In this way, the system replicates the principle of Fizik’s Volume Control: the instep and the midfoot are separately adjustable areas that provide a fully customized fit and compression.
R5 Outsole
The R5 Nylon composite outsole is supple and comfortable even in the long haul but without compromising pedalling efficiency.

I’ll admit that I do not know much about cycling shoes, but I purchased these for Spin Class and they were quite possibly the most uncomfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. There is zero padding in the shoes, so when you lift up off the saddle you are putting your full weight on your toes and it was unbearable. I will be returning these immediately.
