One of the only reasons I hung onto my Fjorden grip was because I thought this magsafe grip would be the piece that finally made it the super cool and convenient DSLR controls for my phone. The Fjorden app is great, by the way, even without the grip. Definitely use the app if you're at all curious about this. But less than 5 minutes with the grip, its hinge broke. I was hoping the magsafe grip would be built stronger, but no. Its the same, lightweight plastic. I have no doubt in my mind that if I dropped this from less than 5 feet it'd shatter.The "super strong magnets" that keep your phone safe from "vigorous shaking"? Yeah, no. If someone bumped me it'd drop. For context, I use an iphone 14 pro with a dbrand leather skin. My phone is caseless for maximum access to the magsafe magnets built into the phone. This thing does NOT hold.This is all very unfortunate because its 40 dollars and sure, it makes using the fjorden grip more comfortable, but it comes at great risk to your phone for high dollar cost. Not so fun fact, if you want one of these from the brand direct it comes with a 20 dollar shipping fee on top of the 40 they're asking.If you still get this, please understand you're making a $20 - 30 dollar donation to their app. Which is admirable! Its a great app! Definitely support them for that.But this thing needs to be made out of metal, like an aluminum. It also needs MUCH better magnets. Only then would I consider this, at this price or even bumped to $55, worth it.You know which camera grip has excellent magnets, better durability, and convenience features? The SnapGrip. Its bigger, yeah, and only has the shutter button, but I feel much safe with that holding my phone than with this grip. The SnapGrip also services as a stand and charges your phone! Definitely recommend.

In combination with the Fjorden grip and apps like Procamera, and the camera app from Apple it feels and works like a dslr. Comfortable to use, easy to handle. I also use it in combination with a rig (smallrig) It fits nicely. It might seem pricey but its worth the money.

Excellent add on to the Fjorden grip, I took one star off as it makes it slightly bulkier , but it’s the best solution to just use it on any iphone without bothering with proprietary cases etc. the MagSafe is rock solid , ofcourse if you really want to shake it off then it will come off.

Die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut. Insgesamt etwas klobig.Ich wollte es mit einem iPhone 13 pro benutzen, aber de Magnete haften nicht ausreichend am Handy.So ist es nicht zu gebrauchen, das Handy fällt vom Adapter, bzw. ist das Handling miserabel, da sich der Adapter ständig verschiebt.Erst mit einer zusätzlichen Magsave-Hülle und nachträglich gummierter Magnetfläche am Adapter wird es dann brauchbar. Jedoch ist es in der Hosentasche einfach zu sperrig.

Hallo, der Magnet ist zu schwach. Das soll Leica Qualität sein??? Ich werde versuchen dies mit einer fremden China Megsafe Hülle zu retten. Mal sehen. Ich habe auch ein Bundle von Fjorden gekauft. Leider ist auch hier keine Spur von Qualität. Die Hülle hat auch einen zu schwachen Magnet. In die Tasche passt wirklich gar nichts ausser dem Grundhalter, der Bendel passt nicht an die Tasche und auch nicht an den Magsafeadapter. Wenn ich es nicht in Norwegen direkt bestellt hätte, würde ich alles zurückschicken. Völlig überteuert und kommt dann aus China geliefert. Auch hier stellt sich die Frage, was Leica da eingekauft hat.
