China is supplying bearings to American companies so that you are paying for the name and still getting Chinese crap so save a few bucks and get the Chinese bearings that you will get in a Timken box. Anyway they don’t look any different and they seem to be smooth so yes I would recommend buying these. If Timken starts making them in the USA I Will Be the First in line to get them at the higher price but until then these will work just fine.

As far as budget-tier bearing brands go FKG seems to be pretty solid. These bearings were packaged extremely well and professionally and were as described. For non-precision applications they seem like an extremely good value.

I ordered these bearings for some 3D printing projects. They are very good quality and rotates smoothly.
