This was purchased to replace a flag holder that was torn off in a severe windstorm. Easy to install and seems extremely sturdy so I don't think we'll be torn off again

This is a decent metallic flag holder that is made out of a pot metal type metallic substance, but it is NOT steel. Most other ones now are real cheesy plastic and snap off in a big windstorm and that has happened to me two times with other ones that is why I bought this metallic one. it looks strong and so far it’s been holding up but I know my metals and this is something referred to as pot metal it is like an aluminum, but you can’t weld it if it cracks or breaks. Just saying that so you know the make of the metal but to the every day homeowner this is wonderful way better than the plastic I bought it installed it and I love it

What I dislike- not made in the U.S.What I do like- this thing is solid, I proudly fly my U.S. flag daily, and this thing won’t crack and fall apart like the plastic ones you’d flag comes with.

We had a pvc attachment that eventually cracked so I purchased this and it’s been great. Very sturdy. No rust.
