Best goose call I could find in the market. Easy to blow and sounds good.

This call was recommended by a friend. It's my first goose call, and didn't disappoint. It's easy to use, produces good crisp sound, and really gets that call out there. I would say, a must have for any hunters call collection, beginner or pro.

If you are a beginner caller this item is perfect for you. Sounds like a drake from a distance. Worth the money

I purchased this call for some hunting, and to figure out how duck calls in general work so that I could make my own calls, but when it arrived I noticed that it was WAY out of tune. At the time I didn’t know a whole lot about the actual calls they make, but it did seem unnaturally low. After a test in the field, I found out I was right. I actually heard a few quacks from a mallard, and tried to respond but it was too low and wasn’t fooling the duck. Fortunately, it’s an easy enough problem to solve, you just have to remove the reed, and trim down the back a little bit, put it back in and with a little fine tuning it sounds great. At this point, I’m very pleased with the modified call, it sounds very rich and raspy, it gets a response if done right, it is in fact nice and loud as said in the description, it fits great on the lanyard I made, and is operated very easily. It’s also a very versatile piece that I can get some interesting sounds out of, even a distress call.At this point my only question is; why was the call was so low in the first place? Honestly, it just confuses me. The reed was placed in properly, it was just too long. And I know I didn’t just get a dud because I looked up some video reviews, and it sounded low, just like this one. It just sounds unnatural and doesn’t get any responses from the ducks, and is easily fixed with a shorter reed that could be easily and more cheaply produced, than these ones, due to the smaller amount of plastic in the reeds, and reproducing a more realistic call.I’ve decided to give it four stars out of five, even though it works wonderfully after the modification, and it was so insignificant an adjustment that I really don’t mind, it’s the fact that it came out of the package like that, that bugs me.Don’t get me wrong here; it’s a great call when modified, for a low price and ease of use that I would recommend to anyone. But seriously?

So when I first opened it I used the wrong end the black end is not the end that makes the duck call. Me being the dummy I am was like I got it broken. But when it red the other end that's how I figured it out. Gotta say sound and feel are good, and depending on how hard you blow into the call the noise gets louder or softer.

All in all this is a decent call for the money. I am not a fan of the tone, a little too deep for me. Sounds ok for greeting calls but the standard quack out of this call doesn't do it for me.

Purchased one of these for both myself and my young son. We both learned together and called in several geese. This is not a staple call we take each trip.
