Used for one day the handle broke off where the tie rope was. I had it replaced and have been using ever since and it works great. Must’ve been a defect in the handle

I bought this bucket based on size and price. However, it has one “fatal†flaw: If you put live shrimp in it (which is its purpose), they will die. We finally got the hint after this bucket killed about 10 dozen shrimp over a few days. We have a second bucket (yellow, name brand) and shrimp were very content in it. Same conditions as this green one and they all loved (at least until they were put on a hook). However, the green bucket? This bucket? Surefire way to kill the shrimp. Needless to say, I bought another yellow bucket.

Pretty good bucket so far, but I was disappointed at how much air was in the bucket when it floated in the water out of the box. I added 24 oz of lead and now it sits in the water the way it should, mostly full.

This bucket is large enough for dozens of minnows. The door is easy to open and close.

The handle seems a little flimsier than I expected for towing and pulling in and out of boat with rope. The only thing that prevented 5 stars.

To hold minnows while fishing. On my third use, I noticed it was coming apart where the seams meet at the middle. So, in other words I was about to have two halves of a minnow bucket. All minnowswould have been lost if I didn’t notice it, so I had to leave them inside the boat while fishing, instead of in the water. Needless to say, the minnows did not last long without aeration from the lake.
