My husband works on a substation and all his clothes HAS to be FR and 100% cotton on all under clothes. Which this is all the above it’s does keep the sweat out of his eyes and prevents the sun to burn his neck. The material is very thin so won’t interfere with your hardhat. This is a must for the summer month and it’s approved by BGE birddog/safety guy.

Bought two of these for my husband and he loves them. They fit comfortably under his hard hat and keep his ears and neck protected from the sun. Made in the USA is so hard to find and these did not disappoint. Happy with the construction and comfort and coverage they provide. I either hand wash them in mild soap like Woolite for easy rinsing or I wash them in a mesh laundry bag with his other work clothe. I DO NOT PUT THEM IN THE DRYER. I want their shape, size, and integrity to remain the same, therefore I let them air dry on either a hook or a drying rack. Over all, very happy with the purchase.

I bought this for my bf during the summer and he still used it when it’s hot or too sunny. He says it thin enough to fit under his hard hat. His friend stole it from him and hasn’t given it back lol

This hardhat liner is lightweight and super comfortable. A hardhat easily slides on top of it to provide a stable and snug fit.It works extremely well to keep sun off of your neck and ears, all while providing moisture wicking to keep any sweat from dripping into your eyes.My only complaint is that the very bottom edge that hangs down by your neck tends to roll up on itself after it has been cleaned. Overall, it's a great value for the price and provides comfort as described.

On the head it doesn’t fit good. It has a square shape to it which bunches up material in the front of the head and in the back. If you wear a hard hat it will be uncomfortable and if you don’t it will look ridiculous on you.

This sunshield is perfectly fitted to my head and covers my neck. I’m not sure what the material is but it’s that dry material that soaks up sweat and dries quickly without any odor. I haven’t washed it yet but it really wears well even when it’s gotten sweaty and dried. I like the fact that it covers my forehead from the sun as well as the sides and back of my head and neck. I mostly only use it on very hot days when I know I’m not going to have any shade or cloud cover. I would definitely buy it again.

I get all kinds of looks from guys on site, you do look like a 13th century peasant wearing a coif, especially with your bucket off. However, come 30°C plus days in the sun, you'll be thanking yourself. Also great to wet the coif to cool off.

I only returned the product because my husband has a larger head and it was tight causing headaches. But it was exactly what I was looking for. Just wish there was a larger size
