These plumbing tools are well made and have proven sufficient for household plumbing tasks involving brass tubing such as that found in toilet and faucet installations. The flaring tool works very well and allows me to install brass tubing rather than ready made braided hose. This $22 set does essentially the same work as much higher priced brand name sets. There is no need to spend more when I have the high quality set. 5 stars!

This is not the highest quality flaring kit, but for the price that's ok. If this is a tool that you will only use occasionally then this will probably work fine for you, but if you plan on using it a lot then spend more and get something that will hold up to frequent use.

Looks like it will be good for re-plumbing the break lines for our 1968 Impala. Replacing drum brakes with new disk brakes. Looks like this will work well. I know there are better tools, but don’t want to spend $100s on a tool I don’t use a lot. Good for weekend mechanics.

If you are looking for a tool that helps with brake lines and have other purposes it can be used for, this is the perfect tool. Its easy to use and the steel work makes it a very sturdy. It will last a while and its perfect for the price.

Good quality and fully functional. Works just like the name brand tool from the big box stores.

I would not count on this tool if I were using it to make a living. For slightly more than twenty bucks it will do just fine for the one or two occasions when I need to flare a brake line or other tubing. My kit did not come with any instructions, however I was able to download them for a comparable item from HF. This tool is not rocket science to use, but it is still nice to have a guide when it is something you don't use every day. I do like that there is a tubing cutter included in this kit so you don't have to find one when you need it. All in all worth the cost but there are higher quality tools available.

This is an ok set. It's definitely good if you buy bulk hose, of the easy blended copper alloy stuff. Easy to have that and a few unions on hand, and double flare yourself. Also much much cheaper than buying a premade 24" piece. With a few tries you will be able to get the hang of it. I've never had one that could actually double flare a steel pipe. And this is no different. But these are not made for steel. Overall it will do the job if you take your time and know what to do.
