I've been searching for extra seating (tiny house). I came across Flash Furniture, and found a full selection and various ranges in weight capacity; six colors to choose, and different package amounts (set of 2 & all the way up to set of 20 chairs). I went with the Hercules Big and Tall Commercial Folding Chair - Extra Wide 650LB. Capacity - Durable Plastic - Gray, 4-Pack at a sale price of-30% $114.94 $28.74 per Count($28.74 / Count). The gray is neutral in color and will fit any decorator, plus they will store very nicely in my home. These chairs are very sturdy; and I'm a 5X fluffy; seat & back are molded plastic & very comfortable. Measuring using metal tap (approx., size without counting the mold in parts), back rest 17 l/2" long X 7 1/4" Wide; seat of the chair 17 1/2 " Long X 17 1/2" Deep; finally the seat of the chair is 18" from the floor. These measurements are not of the total chair, but what your body most likely will contact when sitting in the chair. If - I had more space in my tiny home; I would be ordering another set of 4 chairs. Highly recommend that you purchase at least the 4 chair set!

These are just positively the most excellent chairs to go mobile to parties, picnics, backyard events and anything you need extra chairs that are light, hold up well and fit into the smallest spaces. They are light weight - my grandmother (86) can handle 2. They are easy to set up and take down (if you have problems folding, just step on the back rail from behind and grab the plastic back and pull up). The nice thing is they do an interlaced stack so 10 of them are about 1 foot high when collapsed and stacked. 10 will easily fit in the trunk of a car and they don't slide around. We have 12 that fit into the rear hold of our RV. Instead of stupid lawn chairs that break and are actually to low for a table, we pair these 12 chairs with 2 six foot banquet tables that break down in half. We pull the 2 tables and 12 chairs at all kinds of camping and family events and people are amazed we have such a comfortable place to eat and socialize. As for quality, we got the brown ones to keep from showing dirt. They are holding up excellently. As for the falling apart and weight issues sited in other reviews, we have had these for over a year and not one has broken - they look like they are just out of the box. As for comfort - people seem to choose these chairs over other chairs that are around at parties and at the camp grounds. People seem to respect a solid chair with a good back in these situations. One or two of these chairs do not show their durability. Get a group of them for whatever functions you are hosting.

We have a venue and we brought 5 sets of 10. So far all are in great condition. This brand is more sturdy we noticed right out of the package! The last brand we got thought was equal in quality...nothing compared to these. Don't sag in the back when you sit. Don’t shift a lot if you Rock in it. Very good chairs so far. Still buying more.

Have used these chairs at multiple gatherings. These chairs can handle some heavy weight for long periods of time, I think they claim 300lbs and I back that from what I’ve seen. If you want to make them more comfy do what I did and buy some square 16x16 seat pads. Makes them a lot more comfy, overall they came in great quality, are a good size, and I like the black color in our decor.

Love these chairs! Comfortable and sturdy. For Thanksgiving purchased 12 loved them so much that I purchased another 6 for Christmas to replace my heavy bulky metal chairs. very nice how the chairs fold flat fits more in a space.

TL:DR - It's a good chair, solid, functional and reasonably priced. Delivery was fast. 5 starsDelivery was one week ahead of schedule and the chairs are solid, yet light and easy to carry. The frame is well made and there are no pointy bits or pieces that stick out and catch on your skin or clothes. The plastic of the seat and back is substantial and feels very secure when you sit down. The chair doesn't wobble and it feels solid. I am 260 pounds and when I stood on the seat, there was no give or bend to either the frame or the seat. The color of the chair is more of a brick red than bright or true red - it blends in more than it pops. Completely satisfied with purchase

These are not red though they are wine color so they did not match the description or color I needed for our training room. Other than that they are great. Comfy. Great weight capacity and easy to fold and store
