Extremely thick and sticky tape - exactly like a flashing tape should be! Good not just for roof but for other applications where water tightness is required. If this tape works like other flashing tapes, it is a best practice to heat treat the area after the fact for better adhesion. On the roof and around the attic this will help automatically after a couple of sunny days. If you're applying it somewhere else, you may want to take out the trusty heat gun, however.

Was surprised that this tape was as thick as it is. I wanted to use it for seams in floor decking. Too thick and didn’t adhere to the wood decking very good.

I had a few rolls of this left i ordered 3 months ago , it does not stick to anything. The rolls i got fresh in the summer worked.

I used this for sealing up a small opening in my storage shed that allows water in. So far this has sealed up keeping the water out.

I ordered this two-inch flashing tape to install some new windows. Based on my measurements, this roll was enough tape for three windows.You only have one chance to make a first impression, and I was very impressed with the adhesion of this tape. When they said it was sticky, they weren’t kidding around.The two-inch product is adequate for overlapping the nailing flange on most windows and doors I have installed. For extra peace of mind, you can order the four-inch product.I made my cuts using scissors and a utility knife. As expected, the scissors got a bit gooey, but that was cleaned off with some Goo-Gone. I will only use my knife in the future so I don’t have to clean up.My overall experience with this product has been excellent. I recommend it without reservations.
