Works just as described. I've always disliked plate hangers but 9 months after painting one at a ceramic shop last fall, I decided to hang it on the walk and came across this. I like the look of the plate on the wall so much, I'm planning on painting another!

Like everyone else, I just assumed the only way to hang a plate on the wall was one of those metal springy hook devices. Not exactly pretty to look at. This device is so simple that you question how it can possibly work so well, but damn if it isn't the most beautiful little solution. The back is coated with a layer of adhesive. All you do is massage a little water in with your fingertips to reactivate the glue, press it to the back of your plate, wait a day or so for it to adhere, and boom. Invisible plate mount.

THIS IS THE BEST PLATE HANGER YOU WILL EVER FIND. THE GLUE IS SUPERIOR. ONCE ADHERED TO YOUR PLATE IT WILL NOT COME OFF. I LOVE THAT YOU DON'T SEE IT!!!! ALL YOU SEE IS THE PLATE, NO WIRE CLASPS ETC, LIKE MOST PLATE HANGERS. THEY ALSO ARRIVED QUICKLY AND WERE EXACTLY AS EXPECTED. GREAT PRODUCT!!!!

In reading previous reviews it is apparent there are contrasting opinions about how this product worked. I suspect the differences are due to the type of surface the disc was being attached to. In my case, I attempted to hang a large decorative bowl. It was within the weight guideline specified and the area on the bottom was exactly the same size as the disk. It is, however, a very slick surface, which I think was the problem. A porous surface might have worked out just fine.I followed instructions exactly. The glue was just right after waiting the time suggested and so I put the disc on the bowl, made sure there were no air pockets and that it was smooth. By morning, the glue was dry and the disc was loose so the disc was useless for my purpose.Perhaps, the product description could include a point stating that slick surfaces might present a problem.I may try to attach it with Gorilla tape.

These lasted about two days, then dried up, and my plate fell off the wall and broke. I do not recommend.

Ich habe den Aufhänger zum aufhängen eines Porzellantellers verwendet.Ist einfach anzubringen und hält einwandfrei.Ich fühle mich mit diesem Aufhänger einfach sicherer.

One month into use and my plates are still on the wall. :) Waiting for one more plate for my wall - covid-19 interrupted the process!Easy to use. I made sure the plates were clean (I swiped them with alcohol) and after adhering the discs according to the instructions included, left them for a good 24 hours before hanging.Time will tell how well they continue to work. At this point none of the plates have significant dollar or sentimental value, so if something happens, it's not a loss. The antique clock in the picture is NOT hung using the discs. It's screwed into the wall on a stud (which is why it's off centre within the display...but I'm okay with that haha)
