Flawed beetles are healthy but have imperfections such as: a missing leg or part of the leg, a missing antenna or part of the antenna, a scar or imperfection on the outer shell (elytra). These imperfections happen naturally in nature and generally these beetles go on to live long, active and normal lives. This is a great opportunity to own a colony of blue death feigning beetles for the price of a few. Seeing blue beetles interact in groups is one of the best things about them. Some flaws are barely noticeable and will not prevent you from enjoying these amazing pet insects. Flawed beetles need love too! ***Important Shipping Information: We guarantee you will receive healthy and happy beetles. However, if your local temperatures are above 85°F, we must ship the package to be held at your nearest Post Office for pickup. We will email you after you place your order to confirm that it is ok to ship to your local post office. If you do not reply to this email, unfortunately, we must cancel your order. As a first-time death feigning beetle order, I am very happy with my purchase! These fellows allowed safe and snug in their packaging, and after gently placing them in their new home, they were happily exploring within minutes! They arrived with care instructions that explained their initial dark appearance, and they are now starting to get their signature blue color. These lads are very fun to watch, and even though they all have deformities, they are thriving! I have pack-bonded really hard with these cuties~ Keep up the awesome work with these lovely critters, your passion is appreciated!

This seller is fantastic! this is my second order from this company and I couldn't be any more happy with them. The first order I only bought 6 beetles ( in 2023) but ended up receiving 10 beetles after speaking with the seller. I am a teacher and was looking to add these into my classroom. The seller had excellent recommendations for other beetle species that would work well with the blue death feigning beetles and added in the extra beetles for free. This year, I was looking to add more to the group and reached out again. I ordered 20 blue death feigning beetles and received MUCH MORE than I expected! The students are so excited to see the new group added into the setup. I did not count how many total I received, but it was well over the 20 I paid for. Shipping was quick and easy and every single beetle arrived alive and well, there were even eggs in both containers upon arrival. My students love looking at these and holding them. I was worried at first, because it’s been really snowy and cold. But these little guys just came today and are all doing well. They were extra hungry, so I gave them plenty of insect food, some fresh carrots, cucumber and apples and an insect jelly. They are all relaxing and warming up in their tank. ^.^I was worried about how black they were at first, but thankfully there was instructions and it’ll be nice to watch them gain their blue color again.Thank you very much for your service, quick shipping too.Thank you very much!! Absolutely amazing buying experience! The seller was easy to contact and kept me informed on the shipping and arrival estimation. All the beetles (+2) arrived healthy and were surprisingly active right when put in the tank. Its a great price for what you get, and none of the beetles seem to be too flawed to flip themselves back over. I will definitely be buying more soon!

Nice heathy group of death feigning beetles! They became active as soon as I put them in their enclosure. They make great pets for children as well as adults.

UPS delivered my order two days earlier than expected, and all the insects arrived alive and well. Despite initial worries (I order a lot of feeder insects for my reptiles and always lose a few), the beetles made the journey without issue. Along with my order, I received an extra blue death feigning beetle, which was an excellent surprise.Initially, the beetles were active upon arrival, but then became more reserved over the next two days. I worried and Googled - people claimed they can be quite boring. Not true! They quickly acclimated to their environment and are quite lively now. There's usually one or two always wandering around the vivarium at any given time, but they ALL come out to play like clockwork around 5 or 6pm every night. Despite one beetle having an obvious defect, it hasn't hindered their activity, and there are a couple that I'm not sure I can even identify what makes them flawed. They exhibit entertaining behavior, reminiscent of the Three Stooges, often oblivious to each other's presence - climbing on each other, stacking, knocking each other over, etc. Overall, I can't find any cons besides the fact that their antics might make you want to purchase more than you can house.

Very impressed with this seller, got all the beetles, plus a freebie. They were active and healthy out of the box. Seller was quick too! Got them 4 days after ordering.
