Great product, excellent value for your money. My dogs have no more fleas. We live in high country and they are getting no more text. I would highly recommend this product. It’s very effective and the dogs don’t seem to mind it. It was a little stiff which made it a little hard to get on, that was my only complaint.

Bought Hitpest flea and tick collar for my two dogs who play outside for hours daily. The flea and tick collars are easy to fit on dogs, very durable while providing protection from fleas and ticks. Two months wearing the collars and my dogs have no fleas, ticks and aren’t scratching. These collars are great value and peace of mind my dogs are protected.

First, it's hard to put on. The collar is kind of chalky and has to be pulled through a small opening that the raised tabs in the collar go through, but this is pretty hard to do. That's not so bad unless you have an animal that isn't cooperative and wants to get away as you're attaching it.Another thing is, it seems like it's gotten rid of a lot of the fleas, but I still find ticks on my animals, and even more odd is that the ticks seem to be attached close to the collar.

Our dogs came home from their first hunt of the season with fleas. We've never had a problem with them before, so after a frantic Amazon search, we landed upon these collars to help keep them off our pups. We have two mid-sized dogs, so the two collars, coupled with the reasonable price, sold us on them. After a flea bath and treating the house with spray to kill any critters remaining, we put these collars on them as instructed in the directions that come in the can. The collars are mostly natural-oil based, which is really nice. They don't smell too strongly, in my opinion. They don't appear to bother the dogs at all, and they've had them on for a while now. I haven't seen a flea on the dogs since their treatment or the application of the collars. The only complaint I have, is that in the listing for this product, it claims that they will last for 12 months, but in the instructions, it says the collars are only good for 6 months after application. I guess the 12 comes from the 2 collars combined. They're really not too expensive, so that's a minor complaint. I won't send my dogs out hunting again next year without them.

The smell wasn’t bad and I hope it will work. Getting it on was a pain. It was very hard to pull the collar thru. Had to be careful not to break it because I had to pull so hard to get it through each notch.Noticed a flea on my small Pit that I’m assuming she got from the grass outside since it’s been so dry. Didn’t want to take any chances and I don’t like chemicals or drugs if I can avoid them. Good price and I like to support small businesses.A few weeks in and no sign of fleas. Hard to get on but it’s working so it’s worth it for my Pit.Update…after a month, found another couple of fleas. Obviously it’s not working. Can’t buy them now anyhow. Maybe there were too many issues. I wouldn’t buy again.

Our dog got fleas for the first time, and we were so frustrated. I applied a topical medicine to her back, but we still saw fleas for several days, and the medicine has to be reapplied monthly, which gets expensive. Since putting the collar on her, we haven't given her any more baths and haven't seen any more fleas. The collar took a week to arrive, but that is the only downside. We're very happy with it! And with two collars included, we won't need to spend any more money for a while.
