The bow came in a damaged box but the bow seems to be in good shape. This is NOT a 48 inch bow as advertised. It is a 54 inch bow with a 20 or 25 pound draw weight (whatever you choose). This is for my 9 year old grandson's birthday tomorrow and I'm afraid it will be too long for him to manage. Also, the bow has the word BADGER in large letters on the bow which is not on any image for this item. In fact, the bow looks to be a very beautiful light wood in the one image provided but the actual product is a very dark brown wood. I will need to give it to my grandson tomorrow and we will give it a try but I may be returning it. This could be avoided by providing accurate measurements and several images of the product. More reviews are needed for this product.A followup comment. My grandson did like the bow and could shoot well enough with it. We will keep it.
