Didn’t care for the gold colored pick guard on my Squire paranormal thin line telecaster. To me, it just looked a little cheesy. Unfortunately, replace the pick guards for those guitars are virtually impossible to find. Thought I’d give this a try. Worked perfectly. Looks great. Note of caution, the adhesion is very, very good. So take your time installing once the protective paper is off

Wanted a pickguard for this guitar but didn't want to have one custom made. Came across this and thought I'd give it a try.Item was listed for acoustic guitars but I came across reviews and pictures of using it on electric guitars. I had already made my template out of paper. I just used scissors to cut it out and used sandpaper around the edges for the finishing touch. I had read reviews so knew I could sand and these sheets were thicker than regular colors even though still thin.Just be aware if you use these to make your template outline on the color side of the paper! Don't use the back 3M side or your pickguard will not work, it will fit but on the OPPOSITE side you need. Also, it sticks well so make sure your placement is spot on the first time. Just take your time to do it right.Overall very pleased, relatively easy to do and saved myself some money and time.

This worked out quite well. I didn't have the problem of no adhesive at the edges like some other reviews mentioned. I cut it using my kitchen scissors. The only negative is that when I lightly sanded the edges it became fuzzy in one area. But only in one area. So it seems that the material or texture inside maybe is a bit inconsistent. But that's really just a minor complaint. It looks and feels great. And it seems quite a bit less expensive than most other sheets I found on Amazon. The thickness (including backing paper) measured at 0.028" or 1/32".

I needed a custom pickguard for this Lava Me Play guitar that has an unusual sound hole design and white finish (shows every scratch unfortunately). This was the perfect solution. The sheet came within one day and was easy to position and cut with scissors. Very sticky so I made sure to take my time placing it down, but it was easy and already is protecting the guitar from my nails and picks. My only complaint is that the plastic on the front is not lined up completely with the backing leaving about a centimeter on the top that I could have cut off but I didn't realize it until after I laid it down. You can barely see it and it is not worth removing and starting over.

Sometimes you get lucky with a foreign product and its cheap and great. This pickguard material- you get what you pay for. It’s thin and looks printed (I got the tortoise).Don’t expect any transparency on an acoustic guitar- the lighter parts of the design show up. Its opaque.Good points: easy to cut with sharp scissors, nice 3M backing. So overall not horrible but I wouldn’t buy it again.

Had high hopes for this given reviews & fairly decent looking photos of the opaque options, but unfortunately the transparent pickguard sheet was ultimately worthless. It has a bumpy texture to the adhesive side, which is incredibly apparent against a dark finish. Aside from the texture, it's not clear/transparent--it has more of a milky/cloudy plastic look, not at all as pictured, which appears to be closer to a glass transparency. Had to rip this off and throw it away, absolute waste of time/money.

I didn't have a pick guard on my new guitar and didn't want to look at scratches. This work fine and can be cut with a good pair of scissors.

Nice quality but I wasnt impressed with the colour, it didn't match the guitar like I thought. This is not reflective, it's just a print but all in all not bad.
