I bought this because I needed a bit larger hole for running wire, and it works great.Since the bit is larger, so is the shaft, so know that this shaft is more stiff than the smaller bit/shaft I was previously using. Still works for me.

Spouse wanted it for work and uses it all the time. The Packaging is hysterical. It's like a mystery box, but you need a laugh you got one. Buys one every so often because of the amount of use but its great quality.

DIYer here - on second use of this bit through standard 2 x 4 framing - it sheared off from the shaft and was stuck in the framing. Ended up causing a lot more work to get it out and i will need to end up buying another higher quality bit to finish the project. Wish I would’ve paid more in the first place on a higher quality bit to save the time and money on this very low quality bit

It is the drill bit to make the hole inside the drywall to fish the electrical wire. It works but it is not that flexible. This is the 1st time I use this kind of tool so I might be miss judged.

I bought the 36" bit. I drilled 4 different holes through the hardwood and sub-floor for Cable installation. Drilled right through without any problems. I can say the 36" bit is not long enough to flex, but really didn't need it to flex as my box was only 1.5 feet above the floor.
