This sled gives a fast and smooth ride, much smoother than I thought it would be. The sturdiness seems good. It survived its first winter and a group of four kids taking a couple trips downhill on it without any issues.

This is the best sled. We have used ours for almost 4 years. We take care of the wood during the off season. It is expensive but it’s the best. A little wax every year or two helps preserve the wood and speeds it up. Reviews from people that didn’t take care of the wood should be ignored.

The sled cracked on its first run down a small hill (first pic). I received a replacement within the week (great customer service), but it was cracked in multiple areas still in the box (last three pics). Looking at the other reviews, I thought maybe I had the rare bad apple on the first sled. But after receiving the replacement, I either had the bad luck of having the manufacturer's worse QA inspector twice, or the other reviews received the Golden Apples of the company. There is no way this is worth the price I paid, or the risk of what one will receive. The only reason I even gave it a one star rating is because of the great customer service.

Well-made. We added the pad, which makes it much more comfortable. Would be hard to use without the pad. We also had it waxed, did not move much at all without the wax, but really flew once it was waxed. Lots of fun. Would highly recommend.

For the money it is a pretty good toboggan it has been holding up well so far. We have put four people on the sled and going down the hill with no issues

The wood is thin and unfinished, in my opinion. I guess I cannot complain for the price.I plan sanding the bottom and hand rubbing with Spar Urethane before applying ski wax.The top can probably get away with just a liquid wax to preserve it.The dimensions given seem accurate, but I seem to recall them being wider and the wood having a smoother finish with a preservation coating.It's just not the wooden toboggan from my youth

Works like a toboggan should! Lots of fun on several hills in Iowa this winter with my 3 year old and 1 year old. This toboggan went down the hill better than any other sled we had. Very pleased. One thing I would change is a better way to attach the pull rope, it always comes untied, but not a big deal.

This is a really nice toboggan -- quality wood, good craftsmanship. Well worth the cost.
