Fix my steering on my Elantra. Perfect fit and no more noise. Job isn't very hard to do. I'd say it's about a 3 (1=easy-10hard) on difficulty to install.

This came super fast, and was exactcally what I needed. It is hard to believe I almost died because the original piece in Hyundai was not covered under my warranty. The dealership wanted $42 for this piece. I appreciate your low price. Thank You so much. I am so grateful to live after my steering coloumn locked up. The only symptoms I got was key was hard to release, & a clicking noise driving straight. (I thought it was a cv axle or my shock) Again Thank you. Part was as described, fit my car exactcally and was easy to install once the steering column was disasembled.

Watch YouTube for installation guidance. If you are handy, you can probably install it. If not, see a mechanic before you tear your car apart, because you will probably have to tow it from your driveway to a mechanic to finish the job. (In other words, you'll get half way through and realize you are in over your head.)I installed it in a '13 Santa Fe.It is somewhat difficult to install it in the Santa Fe. (The found videos online for the Santa Fe leave something to be desired.)I'd watch a video on the Sonata first to get a broad overview, then the Santa Fe video for more specifics. Placement is a little more complex and work angles are on your back in the driver foot well. You will need a screw driver, a few sockets, a t-30, some common sense, and some strength as lifting the steering column back into place is tough.Once done. It's like new. There is no click in the steering wheel. As for the product. The original part was utterly destroyed. It looked like it went through a meat grinder. So far the replacement part has been good. It has been about 6 months and feels as it should.

...but I was able to do it by myself. Taking everything apart was fairly easy, but you either need to be fairly strong or have help from a second person to lift and hold the column to install at least one nut after installing this part. Also, finding that third bolt on the motor is pretty tricky because it is hidden on the back side of the motor. It solved the problems, but I'm not convinced of the quality of the materials used to make this part. I would say the same thing regardless of the manufacturer.

Installed in ‘13 Sonata took about 90 minutes working very deliberately. There are several YouTube videos that are helpful for this job. It looks somewhat intimidating when everything is apart but it’s really a rather simple job. You can do it!

Exact fit on a 2013 Sonata. No more clunking noise on the steering column. YouTube the installation, not very difficult. Will save you money if you can do it yourself.

Replaced it with my worn-out part and so far works great. Hopefully it will last longer than the original one.
