So glad I bought these ceiling storage racks!!! Very well made and the instructions were straight forward. 3 x 8 provided the perfect area for storing bins and loss items. I have so much more room in my garage now. Highly recommend them based on quality and price.

Packaging - no issues; Quality/finish/fit - excellent; Missing parts - none. Ease of installation - not for the absolute beginner but well within the reach of a anybody who is moderately 'handy' and has a few tools.My thoughts, based on installing this in a garage with a finished roof -Before you even order the thing get your stud finder and check where your roof joists are. If you're installing this perpendicular to the joists as I did their spacing isn't critical, if you're installing it parallel to them my understanding is their spacing must match the width of the shelving i.e. you need two joists exactly 24" apart. Locating joists ahead of time will help you work out exactly where the shelving will be located, and even if your planned installation is actually feasible.I installed mine a few inches out from the wall - my thinking was that if you mount the roof brackets hard against the wall it will be difficult to insert and tighten fasteners later in assembly.My roof has a longitudinal pitch, which meant I had to make each pair of vertical supports a little shorter to keep the platform level - it came out just fine.It's doable as a one man job - I had a second pair of hands to install the platform but the sections are light enough for one person to handle happily.Overall - very happy.

Great easy storage solution for a garage. It arrived with some dents and dings, but was not worth my time to return as it was still 100% functional. I would definitely recommend having some help with the install. I personally wouldn't use it for real heavy items, but it works great for outdoor furniture cushions and coolers.

Just installed them today in our garage. They look great, and seem plenty strong.All parts came, nothing missing, and the hardware was of decent quality. Delivery condition was perfect. I have been plagued recently with cheap Chinese hardware, like phillips screws that round off while you're trying to tighten them. Not this time. The lags, screws and nuts were OK.One caution, the uprights were not a 110% perfect fit when lining up the holes. The fix was simple, though...we used my friend's Unibit to enlarge one hole on each upright, just slightly, enabling the screw to poke through. I'm going to order a Unibit today!!Also, just be aware...the bracketry is designed to work with the ceiling brackets running parallel with the shelf length. We had installed the three front brackets that way, but we installed the rear ones perpendicular (running away from the wall at 90 degrees). So the hanger bracket in the center was 90 degrees off, and had no place to hook on to. But once again, simple fix... we simply twisted the center bracket 90 degrees, and it hooked in perfectly. Other than that, the install went very smoothly, and I am very satisfied.

Looks good and feels very sturdy. You have to be pretty accurate with your measurements if you wall mount one side, for the ceiling hung parts it's okay if you're a little off, that part is easy to adjust.

I first bought a different brand from Costco, and it was a terrible experience because the instructions were not clear and material quality was bad. It felt that they were trying to route you to paid installation. Then, I got the FLEXIMOUNTS from Amazon. Not only it was much cheaper, but also the instructions and material quality were great. Way to go FLEXIMOUNTS. Thank you!

The storage rack is very easy to setup, but probably needs 2 people to install. I’m not a handyman and the longest time was spent finding the studs on the wall.It will help a lot if you have some power tools, my hands & legs were so sore the next day as I don’t have power tools and have to tighten everything manually using the tools they provided.In the beginning during installation, I had to drill some holes to test for studs as my stud finder sometimes gave wrong readings. Once I know the location of the studs, it was easy to install. My wall studs (vertical) are 16 inches apart and there is a horizontal stud on top, while my ceiling studs are 24 inches apart. For the back of the rack, I screwed the ceiling bracket to the top of the wall, parallel to the stud. For the front of the rack, I screwed the ceiling bracket perpendicular to the studs on the ceiling. My son helped me by holding the ladder to make it steady, and lifting the wire grids as they’re heavy.Pros:* Smart design, hard to go wrong during setup & installation. For example, for the vertical brackets, there’s 2 of them, one with square holes and the other with round holes, if you make mistakes, the screw won’t fit in.* Strong, good quality, & durable rack* Hold 600 lbs.* Adjustable height* Comes with tools for installation* Fast delivery. When I ordered the 3x8 rack, delivery time shows 1 week even though I’m a Prime member, probably the item is not as popular as the 4x8 rack, which can be delivered the next day. However I was surprised when Amazon delivered the 3x8 rack in 2 days.Cons:* No extra screws, so don’t lose them* No diagonal support brackets, so it sways a bit horizontally, but I guess once you put some stuffs, it won’t sway anymore as the rack will be heavy.* No hooks included

I ordered 2 of these and found the rack's were solid, sturdy and well finished. Putting them together was easy and installation was simple. I did it on my own but having an extra person to mount them to the ceiling would have been considerably easier with an extra body (as the instructions suggested). I wouldn't hesitate in recommending these to anyone or even re ordering them if I had a need for more.

Received the garage rack in a nice package. The package has all the parts I need. Overall, It took me around 20 mins in total to install it in my garage. The black colour looks really premium and nice. And we’ve already put a few boxes of unused things on the rack plus all of our Christmas decorations. it holds everything without any problem.Overall, I really recommend this product if you need extra space to store things. It’s easy to install and looks really premium

Bought one of these for my storage room, was happy enough with it, so I bought a second for my garage when I saw it go on sale.Pre-drill your holes and make sure all your lag screws are screwed into beams, and this is a very solid constructed storage shelf.My Second shipment had some issues with my address, seller caught the issue before I noticed and emailed to get correct information.
