This review is for the FlexOn Toilet Flange purchased in December 2023 for $22.95.I had a toilet that always rocked side to side. When I re-tiled the bathroom, I took the opportunity to replace the toilet flange. I found out that my drain pipe in the floor was installed crooked and thus the toilet rocking from side to side. I couldn't get a traditional flange to install flush with the floor so I took a chance and bought the FlexOn Toilet Flange. The FlexOn, since it had a flexible drain sleeve, installed flush with the floor. I was a bit worried that the 'wax ring-less' design would leak but when I installed the FlexOn Toilet Flange and set the toilet on top there was no leaks and the toilet was firmly set on the floor (no rocking).I'm very impressed with this design. I am curious if the 'waxless' toilet horn will eventually fail and leak but so far, so good. Highly recommend.

I've had a once every month or two small leak around the base of the toilet for awhile. I removed the toilet and found the closet flange had been grossly mis-installed during a renovation from a couple of years ago--way too low, crooked, cracked, and not bolted to the floor. I must have been out of town that day.So I tried to do a quick fix with the large spongy green flange. Surprisingly, that didn't work so I went for the full fix. I saw this flange and thought it would be perfect. I sawed and chiseled out the glued-in PVC flange. Chipped out the loose tile mortar and made the opening level with quikrete. I also made a mold to extend the 4" PVC pipe a little bit just to make it flush with the tile. Overkill, but . . .What's nice about this flange is it fits long and tight in a 4" opening. My toilet is skirted so placement would be nearly impossible with a wax ring. Since my floor is a concrete slab, I used 1/4" Tapcons. They fit the flange holes perfectly. No dealing with a messy wax ring or chiseling out PVC in the future, but I can't see having to do this again, anyway. The Flexon flange seems VERY well made.Besides the spacers I didn't use, the kit comes with small, slightly spongy shims for any wobble. I used a couple of thin ones to make the base of the toilet super solid before I tightened it down. I didn't use the spacers.I ended up doing the same thing for the guest bathroom. The long fit of the Flexon went past a short splice in the pipe in that install. This flange will definitely not fit in any pipe less than 4" inner diameter. It fit very tightly in the 4" ID PVC I have. I don't think it's necessary to do what I did, but I will say the installation height is critical. The Flexon video shows the flange installed flush with the floor. I put them both on top of the finished floor, which fit perfectly for me.

This comes with all the parts for installation, and clear instructions with photographs. It's much heavier than the usual cheap plastic flanges, and the installation process is fairly simple. I did have trouble flexing the rubber bottom part outward once it was in place because it's so thick; I was able to get around that by pulling the flange partway up, opening up the rubber tube, and then sliding it down again. If you are installing into a 4-inch pipe this is the right product for the job.

It was easy to install in my 'lead bend'. Note the black flange is plastic, so it is not as robust as metal. After over a year it has not leaked. It molded itself around the horn of the toilet to form a water tight seal.

I ordered this flange for my 1957 bathroom renovation., where the original toilet flange was essentially crimped onto a riser of soft lead pipe. Most other flanges are not designed to work well with lead pipe.Rather than cutting back to the cast iron and using a no-hub, I cut the lead pipe flush with the sub-floor. The Flexon flange fit and sealed incredibly well against the lead without causing any deformation. The design is ingenious in that I could easily set and remove the flange as I found the best alignment for my needs. The material used on the outside of the flange also allowed for a slight offset, allowing me to push the toilet a bit further from the wall. This same material is what meets the "horn" on the bottom of the toilet and created a tight seal without a wax ring.I'll be buying another when I remodel the downstairs bathroom!

Flange broke off the floor and this was a lifesaver.This is a rubber tube that you shove into the pipe.Then you'll have to drill into the floor and screw it down to hold the toilet into place.The bolt the toilet to the flange and you're done.

Time will tell in the long term how well these hold up over time (5 years and beyond). However, using this flange is pretty easy if you read the instructions and watch a couple of youtube videos, etc.
