This is absolutely perfect for your Summer beach bags! I blew up the XL tanning pool with it. I had my doubts about this tiny thing doing the job, but boy was I impressed (That's what she said 🤭) It even has a light w/ 3 different brightness settings & it gets B R I G H T 💡 Came with 5 different nozzle types, C-Charger cable, carrying bag, owners manual and even has a ring on the top to conveniently hang from your tent or where ever you made need some light. 10/10 Recommend. 20$ price tag is awesome 👌 👏 👍

I first saw Dan Becker recommend this, and his logic was sound. For items that need to be filled up, this will do so without introducing moisture and bacteria from your filthy mouth and lungs (yes, I mean you). LOLFor camping this is an outstanding tool (yes, tool). It is a pump, sure, which keeps your expensive inflatable gear going strong and not being contaminated. Using the dry atmosphere vs. your exhalations keeps your mattresses/pads/pillows, etc. free of moisture which will ensure you're much warmer. For inflatables with down or synthetic insulation inside, this becomes critical. In addition to being a nice little pump, it also deflates far better than you can. It'll suck the air out of a pad and leave it pancake flat for tight packing. That's made a world of difference and opened up new backpacks for me because it let me go down a size and still pack everything. So far it's a pump and a vacuum, but it's also a light. IMO the light is too harsh, even on the lowest setting, though it's awesome to hang it inside the tent if you have to wander off into the woods at night; it will brightly illuminate your tent. If I had to knock it on anything, it'd be that the light is just too bright. I'd also love it to have a RGB function to use red/amber/blue/green/white, and to run lower lumens.Bonus Feature: This is the ultimate campfire bellows. You don't need a bit of silicone hose (pick some up from Autozone or similar) but it can be helpful.Need another thing? It can act as a battery backup.Cons: I'm not sure there are any real 'cons' here. It's heavier than some pump sacks but typically takes up less space. If this were to fail and you didn't have a pump sack, you'd be relying on breathing into your pad which isn't good. Exped sells a pump sack that's actually worth having and is crazy light called the Schnozzle. That's also a dry bag so you can keep your flextail in it along with your pad and you're gold. I find that the pump port (the little one) really could be designed with some sort of a catch to keep the bits attached, and maybe to sell specific purely flexible silicone bits to replace the need to carry the plastic attachments. In fact, Flextail, if you're reading this I have a solution for that with a mild re-design.Wish list: I'd love it to be super bright orange, yellow, or some other obnoxious color because it's easy to lose things outside. The aforementioned RGB light function would be amazing. A standard USB-A port to make cross-charging other devices easier.

It's amazing how much power this little pump has. And its battery lasts long enough to pump up a full size air mattress. The vacuum mode is great as it speeds up deflation and sucks all the air out to help with folding.

Just returned from a week long camping trip, using the Flextailgear pump to daily inflate my oversize ThermoRest camping pad. The pump worked perfectly, on a single charge, the entire time, and I used the soft "rubber" valve over the ThermoRest screw in/out valve. One note that's important, IMHO: the on/off switch is easily activated and can drain all the battery while packed. The solution is to fashion a hard plastic cap (I used a lid from a prescription medication bottle, with a small piece of foam rubber to pad the inner surface, which fit perfectly) over the switch. I just used some tape to keep the lid in place, and this prevented any accidental activation. For in-tent illumination, I put a small carabineer type clip on the wire bail to hang inside the tent.

This blew up my hiking sleep pad in seconds! I did have to top it off by blowing in the mattress valve, but I added only a negligle amount, and I may not have had the pump sealed to the valve as tightly as I should gave, this first time. I recommend this little apparatus, with its multiple attachments, to anyone who wants a small, lightweight, yet powerful pump.

Such an awesome little pump. It's small and light enough that it comes on every backpacking trip, even when I'm packing light. The lowest light setting will supposedly last 10 hours, so you can pump up your sleeping pad then turn on the light inside the tent before embarking on evening activities, so the tent is lit up when you return (or for anybody who may be passing by). There are a few things that could have been better, though:- It includes a bag for storing the attachments/nozzles, but it would be nicer if they could attach to the pump. I need two of the attachments when I'm camping, so I did this myself by zip tying each of the two attachments to a twist tie, which I twisted onto the hanging loop on the pump. There's enough slack in the twist tie that I can attach either nozzle to the pump without removing the twist tie.- Would have been nice if the handle/hanging loop had adjustable positions, so this could be hung at an angle. At night in a tent, it shines directly down and is surprisingly bright, which is why it would be nice to hang it at an angle.- Even the lowest light setting is surprisingly bright at night. It would have been nice if there was either a lower light setting, or some kind of built-in diffuser that could be rotated to obscure the light.- And it would have been nice if you could turn off the light without cycling through its brighter settings to get to off.- A battery indicator would have been convenient for checking the level before starting a trip.- Though the controls (double click for pump, long click for light) make accidental activation less likely, it would have been ideal if there was a secondary power control to help protect against it being turned on inside a bag/pack.Was surprised that the charging port is USB-C rather than micro USB (perhaps that allows this to be used as a small backup battery itself?). I did plug this into a backup battery to charge up the pump, and noticed that it totally depleted the backup battery, even though it should have been able to recharge this pump several times; I will keep an eye on this.

La uso para inflar mi pad y almohada de campamento y realmente ayuda bastante, hace su trabajo, en cuanto a la lámpara, la he dejado por 10hrs continuas y sigue (en potencia baja), como iluminación para el interior de la tienda esta muy bien.
