304 Stainless Steel Water Level Control Float Valve
No electricity needed
A ball float valve inside allows water to flow until a specific level is reached. Once the water reaches this level, the float valve will be pushed up with water due to buoyancy and stop the flow of water. When the water level starts dropping, the valve will open again, and the water will start to flow again,so no need electricity.
Auto function
The float valve automatically refills water for your water tank,water tower,livestock,animal water drinker when water drops below the valve level. Once it reaches the valve, it would automatically stop refilling water,so it will shut-off when the water reaches the internal float.

Nice materials. As others note, the threads are disappointingly leaky. Clogged after several days but it is simple to remove the screen and clean it.

Not able to try the float out yet because I need the 1" adapter to connect to my 1" female elbow. The 1" adapter threads are bad and will not even engauge on the first turn. It seems that they didn't even test this to see that all connections work. I will need to go to the hardware store to get an adapter that works and then test the float, hope it works or I will be sending back another one.

We travel quite a bit, so this product was ideal for my raised bed garden, but the fitting that came with it, always leaked. I replaced the fitting with pvc fitting and that corrected my problem. So now I am monitoring it's performance, I will update in the future.

This MEUPMEOP Auto Fill Shut Off Mini Float Valve for Livestock Troughs from LCAUTOMATA is a sturdy and simple water level shutoff valve made in stainless steel. The included bracket is perfect for a top level control of watering tanks or ponds. The use I had needed some head space down from the top of the tank, but it was a simple matter to adjust the mounting bracket to fit my needs. The included adapter and elbow were of good quality, but for me to use the male end of the filler hose I purchased a different adapter for a few dollars. As well made as this unit is I wouldn't trust any fixture in freezing temps, so take care when planning your project.This is a solid and sturdy float valve that is adaptable for many different scenarios.

I spent a lot of time trying to make these adapters work with this valve, but they always leaked. The Teflon tape was inadequate because the threads are kind of sloppy. I went to a hardware store to get some advice and they suggested that Teflon was the wrong tool for the job and gave me some Pipe Thread Compound. I used a lot and filled in every thread with compound before joining them. That turned out a lot better than with the tape, but I still have a slow drip. I was able to seal the female side of the 90 degree adapter with the compound, but the male side and the adapter ring both leak suggesting to me that the accessories included are of low quality.As for the float valve, it seems to work very well. I'm using it in an outdoor pool-like bird bath in the desert. When the water is low, it does kick open and fill the basin to the set level. If you need a float valve, then I can recommend this one, but don't expect the accessories to really help out with your installation.

This float has straight 1/2" threads. Straight threads require an o-ring, but this comes with teflon tape and does not have a shoulder for an o-ring. Additionally, the 1" adapter that comes with it has terrible threads. They aren't even sharp and there are only three or so threads which is too few for 1" NPT. The float works, but the threads all leak. I have no clue how anyone else would get this thing to stop leaking.

Using it for horse troughs, the device is fine but the bracket / holder doesn’t work. It doesn’t clamp tight, when the water turns on it fall out of the bracket.

I like the idea.But this model never shuts off completely.The mount for the edge if the vessel places the valve to high.
